Ken Mosher was the worst part of the show. He was fired the first episode in the first five minutes. I couldn't believe the stress he put on that grieving family. It was aweful. He embalmed a 28 year old man, but made him look like a woman with eccentric makeup and permed his long hair. Can't believe A&E cut that out of the DVD sales and show reruns. I heard he is involved in music now.
I miss this show SO much! I was glad to see John has tried to fill us in on everybody. I hope they got their smoking under control, since seeing them going through all those cigarettes l worry about how their health is holding up.
Just know you are still in many peoples hearts and we wish we could see and hear more from all of you. As far as the theme song goes...it's my fav! Any of you...drop us a line and tell us what new. I know I'd LOVE to hear from you!
Isn't it enough that Jimbo & Katerine are trying to rewrite history without the massive contributions of Maxwell/Moser?!? Listening to Jimbo you'd think he was like the force of Lennon behind the Zippers. But when you hear the truth from Maxwell and Moser a completely different and slightly insidious story comes out. Jimbo & Kat are just jealous they couldn't write such an amazing number one song like "Hell." This comes from someone who has talked in depth w/ Maxwell and Moser about the Zippers.
I LOVED this show. bought 2 copies of the Season one DVD set. (sure wish Season 2 had been released on DVD. speaking of the DVD qwhat song did they use for the opening on it I kniow it wasn't "Hell"
@disneydanny2 - I heard that the guy who owned or managed the mortuary wasn't licensed, the place was shut down or something, & hence the show died a premature " death " - I liked it. It showed that morticians & funeral directors have private lives when they're not counseling grieving families or embalming people.
@disneydanny2 - I heard / read that Rick Sadler got someone unlicensed on staff, he got his license yanked, so the show got cancelled. Damn shame, it was interesting.
shonna was the prettiest of all of them, she didn't act stuck-up, she was down to earth, the oldest sister looked like a witch and thought she was gorgeous, I liked John too he seemed shy, my type of guy!! I felt sorry on the one episode where they shonna had to prepare a baby and she asked John about the placing of the babies hands, because he lost his own baby..
@stone35077 It WAS on DVD but the funeral home got in some deep crap for employing someone without a license to work on the deceased so A&E pulled all sales of the DVD's. You can't find it anywhere. Unless maybe you check Amazon or IOffer and see if anyone recorded them and put them on disk...
I, too miss seeing this program. I liked all of the people in it, except for Rick. He was a jerk who subjected everyone to his personal issues, and acted just like my 4th grade teacher and after school babysitter from when I was in 3rd grade. What a prick he was.
Those 3 sisters are SOOOO HOT!!!Emily's got the body, Melissa's got the face, and Shonna's got it ALL!!!!I miss the show.Somebody give me a boxed DVD set for my b-day!!!
dude shonna is my best friends mom its so weird to hear her talked about as a celebrity i didnt even kno they had a show until her mom came and did a presentation at our school lol
No, actually not. Tom Maxwell wrote the song while we we in the Zippers, and we re-recorded it for A&E. The same version was used for Rinso and Lovespring

My friend's mom was Shonna. But I don't think I ever met her, only the dad. xD

SNZ turned out to be my favorite band. I found out that they did the theme for this show and... MAN. Small freakin' world. :3

But I freakin' LOVED the series when it was on.

Hey Disneydanny,
Rick owns PBM. He may have been a jerk, but he can't be fired.
And speaking of jerks, Chuck was the real asshole of the bunch.
