you see kids, this guy took all his saving bought a crapple pc and cant afford a decent desk or even a chair for his equipment, macs are over rated, they freeze just as much as a pc i had macs freeze on me so i would never spend that much. i bought a kontrolpad, axiom61, toshiba 4gb ram, tascam interface & mic, and an external hard drive and ofcourse a desk and paded chair. and my rig is still going strong and i sit comfortable while i smoke blunt and mix and remix my shit
you don't need a desk or chair to make music dumbass, and i don't know what you have been doing to your mac, but the only problem you can have with a mac is a hardware problem.. (Have been a mac user for over 4 years now, so yeah, i know!)

Right. People go out of their way to belittle other people and things to convince themselves, due to lack of confidence in self or their own tools, is all. Why else would someone even care what others have decided to use, let alone try to deter people on YouTube, of all places? The guy has a laptop and a small midi controller, both of which could fit inside a single backpack or small satchel. Seems like it's meant to be a portable setup. So maybe he didn't want or need a desk, and prefers a Mac.
sscuts you can play a song and do all the effects you want, even the xypad works awesome, you just have to change the scenes and assign each button to the effects you want it to do, you got up to 16 scenes to mess around with
On mine it wont transmit the scenes, it comes up with device inquiry error or device is not connected, i have tried all of the combinations and it still wont transmit or receive scenes, thanks man, just got a mini kp, wow its worth getting one of those bad boys haha
dont do it throught the software, just hold the scene button on your pad and press pad one at the same time and thats scene 1, then press scene again and hold pad number 2 now all the button are diff keynotes and so on

I just bought the PadKontrol which is an awesome midi controller by the way.. and when tried to install the bundled Abelton Live Lite 6 software that came with it it rejected the serial number that was on the back of the CD ...does anyone out there have a working serial they could spare or know where to get one??? thanks i'd really appreciate it...
