I just want you to know, this vid got me interested in this episode before I ever saw BSG. Nice work.

Never really got into BSG. Did the first season, but never continued. Most of it was just my life getting in the way of my TV watching, but part of it was that I really didn't find anything attractive about Starbuck. This video really puts her in a new light. You really made her beautiful.

Very nive work. Makes me maybe want to give the show another try.

@Cosbification I found Starbuck beautiful in the first season or two, when she was still trying to act on her own behalf. Sometime around the time she turned down sex with Lee I stopped liking her quite as much. I felt like her intentions became muddy, her characterization fluid...not in a good way, seeing as how BSG does not particularly strive otherwise to be 'modern art.' I felt like after Starbuck began her "journey" [gag me] she became a male-envisioned "angel" to be won, not real person.

Neither had I! Then I kept hearing about it from people who are smarter and cooler than me, as well as from certain visionary geniuses within the actual tv industry, with shows of their own to promote. The consensus is that BSG is a gem of a show: prescient, entertaining, captivating, brilliant. Its admirers include Trey Parker, & Joss Whedon (extremely revered) who has called BSG alternately "the best" and "the most political show on television."

(cont'd): Moreover, I think this outstanding video is a great representation of Ani's work and of BSG. It shows the emotional depth of how human nature and relationships can be explored through art, and truths discovered in the process. I absolutely love it. And since I finally broke down & experienced BSG for myself - I must vouch for all the accolades it has received from everyone "in the know." Between this one and a few choice other programs, my aversion to sci-fi has made an about face!
