Anger makes people do foolish things. What the prophet said about action worked in his time. Today, we must speak out against it. Using violence would only make matters worse. When someone rapes you,as a Muslim, you are not commanded to give up the other butt cheek. To establish "peace" we need to punish the rapist in order to ensure other people do not come and rape your sister or other members of your family. If we do nothing, then surely crime would escalate. That is why we need to punish criminals, severely. Especially murderers.
