What does the screen res do whats the difference what happends someone tell me what is 1920x1080

It's the amount of pixels the screen is displaying.

For example, a 22" monitor can display 1680x1050 resolution (the sharpest for that monitor) while a 24" can do 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. Those are high-resolutions so if you want to run games at those resolutions, you would need a good graphics card.
