Does Hong kong has a national anthem? please leave taiwan along, people in taiwan can do what ever they want. Taiwan is the only place in this word where they understand chinese and has one vote for each person to elect their own president.

the PROPOSED 2017 is the universal suffrae for chief executive only. The PROPOSED suffrage of legislative council is 2020.
(Opt for yes/no, for the appointed (already) candidate). And the ratio of constituency group remains the same. It is NOT democratic at all. Not one vote for every one.
"Hong Kong will keep on its superior in the following half century at least! But no democracy will be born on this land, and it's a destiny." said by one Hong Kong citizen! What will happen must be all the Hongkongers' minds and brains are "corrected" by PRC!
