Gloves are amazing !! some of the best grip ive ever had with a glove.....a definate buy for anyone looking for a pair of gloves.......latex seems to be fine but im playing on artifical gloves !!
I just bought these, do you think they will work on an artifical pitch, i rarely ever allow the palm to touch the ground because it'll tear, but most gloves ive used have done fine, unlike some addidas and Umbro gloves i bought, are these fairly durable ?
Hi @Wigley123456! As a rule it's definitely best to try to stop the palms touching the artificial surface, whatever palm you're using. In terms of durability, I think the XGM Pros are somewhere in the middle: they use high quality soft latex foam, so they're never going to be all that durable. It's just the trade-off when using nice quality soft foam, sadly.
But, I don't think they're particularly going to rip up too quickly - as long as they don't get too much contact with the pitch!
how are the grip on these? and also, training on synthetic nearly every night wears my gloves quickly. Which gloves do you recommend for long-lasting grip. ta
Hi @spizza08. New Kaliaaer XGM pro range only out since beginning of the year or two but customer feedback on grip and performance as a whole has been very positive.
Synthetic surfaces a problem for lifespan of most pro level gloves... Personally I'd say better to go for good quality £25 to £35 gloves so it's less annoying when they wear out, and get something good value like some of the Kaliaaer range so that you don't sacrifice performance.
