When will the people understand that to see the RAM beeing used under vista isn`t a bad thing at all ?

Vista`s not using it for its own pleasure.. it just loads the most frequently used programs .. so u are able to start them faster. When you start a game.. don`t worry , those programs aren`t remaining loaded in RAM .. they`re closed so the game can use the whole memory.

Well, actually, you could argue (as I'm about to do) that Windows XP is better in many ways for gaming than Vista is. Despite the obvious problem with the lack of DirectX 10, XP still has a very good version of DirectX in 9c. The problem with Vista is that it is total and utter 'bloat ware' its full of useless apps and is still slowed down by Microsoft's inability to remove old legacy systems. Don't think the newest OS is always the best, although Windows 7 looks good so far...

I don't think you quite understand the idea of gaming, the idea is not to have the best PC, its getting the best out of what you can afford. So if you have enough money for a brutal gaming rig, then use Vista, but if not use XP. Personally, I'm going to keep using XP until Windows 7 comes out.

i can run crysis at 1440x900 on high-very high with no aa at around 30fps. I get a consistent 30-50fps on cod4 with all settings maxed out at 1680x1050. also i can run assasins creed with all settings maxed out at 1680x1050 with 20-40fps. check my page to see the rest of my system
