i wanted one to but in Bermuda the iphone is almost $1300 and you need a data plan with it and that plus the phone plan would be $250 a month to start. so i got nada.

@RemusRomulas Why wait? I needed a new phone now; the temporary Android phone I got to lock in an unlimited Verizon data plan was NOT cutting it. This iPhone is blazingly fast and smooth, and lets me access information about as fast as on my laptop, and do it while being mobile. That's kinda the first step to getting out and about and enjoying life. I'm too much of a hermit as it is :)

@Christina314 Nah, it's okay, I was a Windows guy from the beginning back in 1990; had a Dell up until just 4-5 years ago, so I understand where PC folks are coming from. I get that Macs aren't perfect. But the top of the line PC I got as a replacement for my workhorse of a Dell Inspiron was so bulky and sucky I had to switch, and so went for the better designed machine. Plus, I wanted Final Cut, and that's pretty much where the PC argument falls apart.
This was a bit like an intro from some 80's TV show. Looking forward for more episodes of getting away, being on a mission to see the real world and lots of freedom with Siri :P

(good lord, was it 2006?) and it was so bulky, intrusive and annoying, I promptly sent the whole thing back and got a Mac. It's far better for my video editing workflow anyway. I prefer Final Cut to Premiere. Or... I did before Final Cut X ::shudder::
