  • Even a lousy 7MHz 68000 could do all that, it shows how people could code back then. Assembly language was the way to code if you were serious about performance.

These days everyone wants to write portable code and even use Adobe tools to convert Flash to native code. People are so lazy now.

  • you kow, its only recent years really that soft synths seem to have taken off, and th Amiga was doing all this back in the 80s, just amazing

  • Who the heck throws a working A3000 in the trash? D:

  • Well, I am (almost) speechless.

Mark Riley wrote Sonix (it was originally called Musicraft when Commodore signed a contract with us for $.25 for every Amiga it got bundled with...never happened). I was the producer. The best thing that came out of it has been a lifelong friendship with RJ Mical and Dale Luck. Thanks for the trip back down memory lane.

  • I have this!!!!

    Arent you jealous?

  • Amiga forever!

  • wow, I remember playing with this software as a kid. great flashback =)

  • Dubstep wobble !

  • sweet

  • If anyone wants a piece of modern, cross platform software that includes waveform drawing, check out Renoise ;) It's what's known as a Tracker, a sequencer that's based off old amiga sequencers. It's packed with some very unconventional sound making tools.
