Many of these rifles are based / copied from the American Armalites & Russian Kalashnikovs. XM8s & Bushmasters are becoming popular these days. I saw many videos here in YT. Not to mention on video games!

XM-8 popular? In video games maybe, but the whole project of development of that assualt rfiles was disbanded as it failed to meet certain requirements and just the whole econmics behind it.... Bushmasters? Well they make AR-15 copys mainly, the M17s and ACR are more or less orignal, exept I am not sure if M17s can be classed as assualt rifle as its semi-auto only.

@s4ndler97 Well probably because K1 uses Kalashnikov type gas system and bolt grouping resulting in significantly higher levels of relibialty and ruggidness even under harser coniditons, as well as K1 is more compact in size thereofore room saving... On the other hand i think K2s accuracy in general is supperior to that of K1 as it uses Eugine Stoners direct impingement design.

@eveef Since AG3 is the Nor copy of HK G3 it techncialy counts as the the G3, like i already said it wouldnt be feasable for me to go throuhg every single assault rifle clone based on each model. I only inlcuded general and more or less original ones. And the HK416 is on one of the vids im pretty sure of it.

@mrlamboapollo AK47 was created during the 50's I beleive, so yes Soviet Russia. But! Many mobs, Yakuza's, Terrorists still use the AK47 seeing as it was a gun far ahead of its time. It was tough, and built to last. And I am not sure if it is still used by the Russian Military. Might be. Go check online. AK47 is a very sturdy gun as well, it can pierice kevlar, which is pretty good.

@KlifeRR Yes i listed Beryl as one of assault rifles i miised. wz88 tantal is pretty much a polish copy of AK-74. Dont know anything about the wz89 though. Again i cant list every single clone of AKs, FALs, M16s, etc. there way too many of them; 100s of different models.

About Sweden:

The AK5 is the Belgian FNC with just small changes.

The MKS and MKR was never issued or sold, it was only test products.

You could have the K-pist m/45 and the AG 42 jungman in there for sweden, they were swedish designs and used by the swedish army.

Yes Bofors AK5 Is a swedish modifed FN FNC. Difference include different pistol grip, handguard, forsigth, rear-sigth, cocking handle, swivel etc as well as no 3 round burst feature. Also the weapon has an enlarged trigger guard, for easier use when wearing thick gloves.

Oh, I thought it was on battle rifles to. And in Swedish de difference betwen an auto rifle and an auto carbine is only the length. The AG-42 was also made into an AK called AK FM/54

OK, battle rifle is just a generalastion of a rfile chambered in full power catriges packing a strong punch like, 7.62x51mm, .303 British, 7.92x57mm, 7x57, 8x50mm, .30-06 and many more. I however did slideshow on selective fire automatic infantry weapons. Never mind.

By the way, Ljungman AG-42 is not an assualt rifle, its a self laoding rifle. Karl Gustave m/45 is a sub machine gun. This slide is on assualt rifles

Wrong, its a an assualt rifle, 'mirco assualt rifle' but still is, well in my very good opinion. Number one its chambered in POWERFUL 9X39mm (7.62x29mm, 5.56x45mm and 5.45x39 versions were also made, but rejected later on for production) Russian Service catriges, no2 it ultilizes gas operated system with rotary bolt locking with 4 lugs kalashnikov style with a long stroke piston.

Indeed it is an effective weapon which is very unique in some design feature, such as the 'pushing in and out' barrel which helps cancel out most of the forces acting on it expet the back kick, and the fact that the weapon fires first 3-4 rounds at rate of 1800 rounds per minute, but if the trigger is still held after that, it reudces all the way down to 600, that helps conserve more ammo and less need of reloading.

AR- 10 is dutch mate but the weapon was bullshit and the US made the AR- 15 wich already was way better and out of the AR- 15 the M16 was made

No AR-10 was manufactured and designed by armalite the US company and AR-10 is much beetr then AR-15 cause its quite easy and cheap to manufacture as well as to use and maintian and its very ligthwiegth due to alimunium constructuon, very reliable too, high recoil and muzzle climbe thought due to its low wiegth. The AR-10 was sold to Dutch army as wll as few more but it was less suceful and from it invloved the AR-15.

the only thing that makes the ar10 better than an ar15 is that it shoots 7.62x51 NATO a more powerful round over the fast but light 5.56x45 NATO.

Not that, what makes it better is that it was cheaper to produce, much more reliable, as it was more rugid and much less senstive to rough treatments (like exposure to dust and debirs, or sand, water, physical damage, etc, etc) and needed less maintence. The AR-10s consturction is more simple too , the weapon was quite ligth (because of it beig mostly)and weapon in general was high in quality. The only issue with weapon was that it had hefty recoils and muzzle climb due to its low wiegth.

Nots its alrigth Hannibal, XM8 was devloped by HK and colt i think in order to go as service reifle in us and replace the AR-15s,/M4s but unforutnaly after the trails the project is canceled. XM8 wont see any service for some time to come, but who knows wait and see.

Those Spanish rifles look like they are based on the G3, which is in my opinion the most under rated assault rifle of all time, moderate recoil.. amazing accuracy and whatever you hit isn't getting back up, man or elephant.

Yes CETME model 58 is a rough, cheap development rifle that led to HK G3 and L and LC rifles are also based on HK G3 and its series especaily by same vollgrimer time, roller locked delayed blowbakc system.
