But, I didnt say Mother shouldn't have been in the ssb serise. Infact Ness and Lucas are my favorite characters, and I love playing in Onett.

weird fact: although some characters get advantages on their stages, Ness doesn't. Due to the tight spaces between skyscrapers, PK Thunder is insanely hard to use.

The reverse is true with his other stage. People who might have a hard time using Ness's recovery don't have to worry about it in Onett because there are no pits to fall into.

I think the creator (of the Mother/Earthbound series) said that Mother 3 took so much work, that he isn't planning on making a Mother 4. He did say, however, that if someone wants to make it, that "they can go ahead and make it". There's a group that's making a Mother 4, and it looks promising.

The thing is Earthbound did horrible sells wise because of Nintendo's crappy marketing for the game. This resulted in low sells and Nintendo assuming that the Western audience didn't like Earthbound. In reality the people who bought did like, but thanks to Nintendo's brilliant marketing "This game stinks!" not many people bought the game.
