  • Funny how the STL tea party has now endorsed a GOP candidate by putting this video on its website.

The Tea Party is not supposed to endorse candidates. Candidates are supposed to endorse the Tea Party. Bill, tell me the GOP hasn't bought and paid for your support....please!

  • That no good liberal fat cat! I cant believe he goes on vacation! Seriously- we are in debt because of the last 3 republican presidents starting wars and running up military budgets

  • The man is welcome to go on vacation - on his own dime, not ours.

  • The issue isn't that he is going on vacation. The issue is that taxpayers are paying for it.

I agree wars are expensive. The thing that is killing us is the "entitlement" programs.

The big difference is that the Military Budget is Constitutional, the Entitlement Programs are not.

  • @GroverGee:

Let me give you an illustration:

I have a 30 year old brother, who was capable of working, living with me and my wife and two children. He is not making any financial contribution to my household budget. If I had to use credit cards to buy my groceries. Would I blame my financial trouble on my children?

The Entitlement Programs are the brother and my family is the Military. One is my responsibility the other is not.

  • Yawn.

  • Sorry, Ed, your ad didn't work for me.

  • this is a great ad!!!

I watched a Russ townhall meeting and that guy is a clueless bafoon.

    Please vote him OUT.

  • so says the guy that just confused count for can't

  • Should be "fewer" not "less." Fewer used for things that can be counted, as in choices, and less for those that count be counted.

  • Brutally effective anti-Carnahan ad for the first 2 min, but you need a couple of positive, concrete policies for Martin (cut spending on "X", cut taxes for "Y"). "Father" and "taxpayer" are too vague as qualifications, has he ever run for office or run a business or done anything of note?

  • Ed Martin was Missouri Governor Matt Blunt's Chief of Staff.

Ed worked with Matt to balance the MO budget. Took us out of the RED after Bob Holden, even though we have a balanced budget amendment. Slashing the Missouri budget did not make them very popular but with a Republican State House and Senate many conservative initiatives were passed.

The Wikipedia has a fair assessment of the Matt Blunt Governorship. As Chief of Staff Ed was instrumental in getting the state's budget under control.

  • Matt Blunt was pilloried in the press for being against babies, puppies and unicorns with his "draconian cuts" - but thank God he did. Michigan and California are fiscal train wrecks compared to Missouri.

  • Yeah he got fired for ...lets say..he broke the law. Ed is just another politician. Find John Wayne Tuckers video on You tube. I'm voting for him.

  • I am sure Ed will create more videos in the future. Our primary is in August and of course our general election is in November.

  • "Fewer" is 5 letters. "Less" is 4.

Shouldn't you Yankees learn to count?

  • Absolutely ElTejon - and it's pronounced core-man not corpse-man you arrogant, pedantic clod.

There ought to be a humility and tolerance requirement in order to be in politics, even if overeducated, snotty dipsticks go unrepresented.

  • So, you're saying that the Democrats still favor literacy test, such as they once used to suppress the black vote after the Civil War? Nice to see that somethings don't change.

  • Excellent video! Send Russ home, or more likely turn Russ into a lobbyist.

  • great tackle! and on Super Bowl Sunday too!

  • Ed, powerfull!
