number9. if you clean your screen it becomes a lot more responsive. Clean by spraying a bit of deodarant on the screen and wiping up and down (only go one way ertically) with a cloth or screen cleaner. Strange, but works. If you keep your sreen moist it actually becomes faster. !!!!!!!

I have a Motorola Droid cdma and batteryusually lasted 4 hour as much with out exsesive phone and data usage. Even in lock screen spend a lot of battery. What i do to repare was to uninstal apps and start using go launcher wich i think is better than others... I recomend you to have just 2 or 3 desktops and be continuously checking the Go Task Manager widget!

I think that most of his advices was a little too extreme - at least for Galaxy S2 users. This phone have two core processor and this cores are there to use them, not to save computing power...

Nonetheless this is good list to go through and disable features that you dont need.

I like the touchwiz interface, but found a very good home launcher alternative on the Android Market. It's called Zeam Launcher. It's very minimalistic, but I actually enjoy it more than touchwiz.
