I played 5 of these at a local music store and 4 of them SUCKED!!!

Go to a music store and play it and feel it in your hands. It's worth the extra $30 you'll pay! They're mass produced in China and it's a crap shoot to get a good one online. It's still a really nice starter guitar for the money! JMHO!

@cmon671 Very light weight, but if I rated how good I thought the guitar was on a scale on 1-10 1 being crappy piece of shit and 10 being the greatest I would say it was a 4.5 or 5.0 its just a mid range beginners guitar that offers the ease learning without worrying about destroying a really nice guitar.

I owned this guitar for a little over a year untill I purchased a fender tele, It worked great I never put on the tremelo bar (whammy bar) becuase I knew it would not stay tuned if I used it. but other than that no fret buz or any of that other stuff people bitch about. Good beginer guitar! Go get your wings

No. Wshburn is it's own company. They use the ML shape without being sued because they pay Dean for the use of the shape. Yeah Dime did use washburns on several occasions. He really used the in the DamagePlan days.

In a word, "no." Not unless they've been modified with "Hot Rails" pickups, or have a humbucker (or 2) etc. The guys in Iron Maiden play Strats, but they've been decked-out as I mentioned. Get yourself a cheap Les Paul, and that'd be a good place to start.

pretty good, if you are purchasing a guitar and have a budget I suggest going with the fender squier telecaster or strat the action is lower, better quality strings out of the box and over all just better sounding, if you are set on getting a dean then I would say this is a good buy its a low end guitar you get what you pay for I still have it I use it almost daily fender will run you 20-30 dollars more. well it did I live in Indiana.
