  • I'm still waiting to see James Randi and Chris Angel to do that.

  • @MrOphachew would you settle for penn & teller? because they have

  • @scottbaioisdead --Show me.

  • @MrOphachew bullshit season 1 the episode with firewalking

  • @scottbaioisdead --Get it and post it. otherwise it' "bullshit"

  • @MrOphachew are these guys all chi masters too? even the 14 year olds?

    /watch?v=k0qJ5q8KxsA

    /watch?v=hgw30uB1okQ&feature=fvw

    /watch?v=wia4mzzG7D0&feature=related

  • @scottbaioisdead --Might be. What the titles of those clips?

  • @MrOphachew just paste them into your browser and get the titles it's not that hard.

  • @scottbaioisdead --I only had to look at one to know what you're tryin. And I still say if its so easy I want Randi to do it and post it here.

  • @scottbaioisdead what you're saying makes no sense I'm not even going to continue with fighting with an idiot I'm just going to walk away

  • @scottbaioisdead

I think people refer to chi for anything they cannot explain.

As in this case, the bar is long and not really thick so its nothing magical.

  • its not fake, you dont have to be of asian decent to understand, gain the skill, and do what is qi gong. It depends on who you are taught by, how you are taught, and how much you understand and commit to the art in which you have taken up.Yes the art itself is derived from eastern culture, but doesn't mean others cant master what has been taught for, MANY MANY MANY years. That's about as stupid as saying white men cant jump or black people are ignorant.

  • @hakuboshi1 it's not fake, it's a trick. the bar really bends but it's because it's cheap iron rebar against a part of the body that can handle the force which is redirected downward causing a bend

  • ok? uhhh yea... well thx for the definition?=]

  • @scottbaioisdead my friend there is no trick involved in this and the rebar is california standard 6 feet long 1/2 " rebar which is stronger than the rest of the country due to earthquiks, i know because i bought it. it takes about 8 months to 2 years to be able to do this. . it takes close to 160 lb f pressure to bent it, and it only takes 35 lb of pressure to puncture the skin.

  • @hunggararam that's funny my friend penn jillette has never studied martial arts and did it effortlessly but since you're using chi power how about you do it with a 2 foot rebar and see how easy you can bend it

  • @scottbaioisdead I agree 2 foot rod is very hard to bend, but i would like to sea penn bent a six foot rebar, not a megician' stic, and scince it is a trick why dont you do it and post a vide My FRIEND

  • @hunggararam why don't you do it in front of james randi and if it's chi he'll give you one million dollars. of course i think they'll just hand you a paper on eulers formula for buckling and then do the trick in front of you so you see it's a trick based on the force it takes to bend the object being inversely proportional to the length of the object. why is a two foot bar harder to bend than a six foot? does chi use a ruler?

  • @scottbaioisdead oh i see you want to get scientific, listen the point is that i can do it and you can't. and by the way i did it it is infront of you let me see what you got. but i know you have a scientific reason why you should not preform this tric, so like you say you win, i loose, see ya have fun

  • @hunggararam who said i can't do it? anyone can do it. can you do the "chi" trick of sticking a needle through your arm? i can, can you break a brick with a glass? i can. can you walk on hot coals? i can. can you make your body impossible to lift? i can. can you knock over 12 people with one hand? i can. can you immobilize someone with a "kiai" i can. and none of them have anything to do with chi.

  • @scottbaioisdead sounds like you are a true computer warior

  • @hunggararam nice response, so when will you be doing your demonstration in front of james randi to earn your million dollars? let me guess you don't need the money? or you don't want the fame. or a true martial artist doesn't do that. right?

  • @scottbaioisdead first i would like to see you demonstrate your skills.

  • @hunggararam you didn't answer my question.

  • @scottbaioisdead and @hunggararam lol your both so full of shit

  • @JakeJohnRogers i already showed all these tricks in various videos, look up my videos how to break bricks like tigi mataali or response to nelson pinto. these aren't martial arts techniques they show they're physics tricks. and the word is you're please learn english

  • @scottbaioisdead there is no way to prove it actually was you and also, seriously? you are seriously trying to give a spelling/grammar lesson on the internet on YouTube? I might as well bitch about your sentences and proper nouns needing capitals, and I also took the time to look at your video's the first few I clicked on was you talking

  • @JakeJohnRogers i don't use capital letters because they're ugly. i gave you the titles and you couldn't find them? so not only do you not speak english, but you're also blind?

  • what is this number 5 ? ooo ooo let me see what #6 is!!!!

  • they said iron anatomy, i have been lied to :(

  • i always wonder who was the first person to come up with these stunts, like who the hell first thought oh im going to punch through these bricks, or im going to bend a bar using my neck

  • I think maybe the FIRST person to try and see if his head was harder than giant stone did an epic fail and died, so everyone else is like "Hey we'd better not try that or we'll look like him, he's all covered in red... yuck." So they tryed something smaller like a... smaller slab of slate?? Lol

  • @jimmyshitbags the people made up these stunts were shaolin monks from china they developed iron body so they can feel no pain even when the nuts are hit they can't feel it... good way to protect your nuts i guess

  • @NikLagua: for sure they feel no pain? I don`t think so, they feel what`s going on, and they feel pain, but they can control it by preparing them before and in the moment itself

  • @NikLagua

Having dead nerves is one thing. But What about the DAMAGE?

  • if its heat do u think they can keep a melting hot metal pole touching there necks

  • ur kinda right its heat and them using its own momentum to help bend it but thats still a pain in the ass n would hurt

  • people really fail at life

"Themadworldof" billy for making such a statement

    "Kamjam21xx" for agreeing with him

  • it is rather easy to sit back and critisize others. so for those of you who think this is not real pleas try id and post the facts. oh by the way it is a 1/2 inch thik 6 foot long rebar from home depot. i am wating for your grate videos

  • like many have said, it is a trick. Although some training is required.

  • this actually required a lot of training. The throat is a vital part of your body. if he was not properly trained, the iron bar would've caused serous damage to his throat even if it just pierces you're still causing the risk of hitting that vital vein

how do u magically bend a long iron bar in front a crowd of people in an open area?. you have no fact nor any proof that this is a trick. So show some respect for martial artists and what they do. it's pretty badass stuff

  • you train to apply slow pressure. that is all. Similar to the lying on a bed of nails trick, what you're taking advantage of is simple physics. If enough force is applied (without accelleration), the bar will buckle and bend. I didn't say it required no training, but the thing is a trick.

  • You know, there are two types of people in the martial arts, those who train hard and those who train hardly at all. These are the ones who like to rain on other peoples parade. You side line haters. What can you fools do? Grow up.Show some respect!

  • nice

  • just like your father

  • this is entirely possible, and its not that hard. and yes it is a pure iron rebar. its just meant to look difficult.

  • Someone please tell me what that has to do with anything.

  • stupid nubs

  • this part of the neck is the weakest part and most breakable part in the bodie

  • actually no its the strongest part of the neck thats why they're doing this trick, if you want it explained watch penn and teller bullshit season two.

  • I ain't saying this one is good, because you americans can do nothing well, but watch a chinese shaolin munk do it with bars thick as your arm. Then say what's cool.

  • Okay, but only if you find me a "chinese shaolin munk" that can.

  • we americans can do nothing well... We "americans" can do anything your country can do, Its not about the country, is about the intensity of the training. Next time make an intelligent comment

  • I seen that on jackass, a guy did it in tailand i think

  • Actually, thats wildboyz, Stevo did it with an elderly man.

  • looks like 1/2 steel rebar to me i can easly bend that. if its stainless, then thats even easier.

  • lol steel bar? I think it might be iron...which is why they called the video "Iron Anatomy" lol.

  • Actually, Lukay, the reason it's called "Iron Anatomy" is because that's the name of the training regimens that Shaolin monks undergo to increase their strength in different parts of their body. Iron Palm, Iron Groin, and Iron Shirt (or Vest) would be other examples. It has nothing to do with what the bar was actually made of.

  • theres really nothing special about that

  • As a phycist it's very easy to explain why it is simple bending the staff. Looking carefully you see the guystrying to oscillating the staff. By oszillating you have different points of inner pressure in the staff. If you put then force in the system while the staff is in the maximal amplitude, it'S definatly craking. Two 15 year old guys could do that...

  • Look, I'm a physicist too and I agree that they're obviously not trying to bend it whiles its perfectally straight. However, I'd say its pretty naive of you to think that two 15 year olds could bend a piece of iron rebar with their necks, regardless of if they got it oscillating.

  • Phew, I hoping someone would say this. I kept looking through comments and they were all full of "Amazing!" and such. It's a cool trick, but I've seen elderly folk do this. Regardless, it's still neat to see.

  • What a stupid gimmick. That has nothing to do with martial arts and anyone can do it. Bruce Lee saw [and was disgusted with] a similar exhibition with a guy doing that to a spear. His response "Give me the spear! I'll make it go through!"

People need to stop looking for "secret moves" in the martial arts and begin taking the arts for what they are: fighting science.

  • it actually is a part of shaolin martial arts discipline to train the neck to repell a spear and strengthen it to acheive these capabilities

  • im quite sure that spear issue wasn't a problem in Bruce Lee's era. Probably due to the fact that he wasn't around when they were using it to strengthen their necks to repel attacks against their necks. It probably wouldn't be considered a stupid gimmick to those that invented it due to witnessing countless attacks to their brethren or themselves in times of war.

  • if they witnessed a spear attack on themselves they probably wouldn't be around to strengthen their necks anyway.

  • While I disagree and say that the concept of being able to do that and not get stabed open is impressive,it is pretty useless when a spear fly's at you rather than rest. You wouldn't happen to know where I could look up Bruce saying that, would you?

  • LOL, give me the spear ill make it go through lol very true ahahaha.

  • I think you are the stupid gimmick. Martial arts ain't just killing and fighting, but strenghtening your body and making your mind strong. This really is THE martial art. When you have learned this and alot of mind stuff, you can start training fight.
