The most epic level in the most epic WW2 FPS single player campaign of all time. Unfortunately CoD2's multiplayer wasn't as the original or to a greater extent United Offensive. However, as great as the campaigns for the original and it's expansion were, CoD2 is still king. The modern warfare CoDs aren't terrible but they just don't cut it. :(

A hard mission to beat, especially in veteran, i did, but it take me like 20 minutes to beat this level in veteran, for some reason, the following mission, when you had to defend, is more easy for me............:/

MP44 and Gewehr 43 with optic, that´s my favourite choice :)

I always thought the Germans had better weapons.

MP40 has a steadier fire rate, better iron sights, less recoil, and larger clip than the Thomspon. Gewehr 43 is accurate, powerful, easier to reload than M1 Garand with more rounds and isn't bolt action like the Lee-Enfield (could mean the difference between life and death). The MG42s are deadly and everywhere. Nothing beats the MP44 for its raw power and is a lot like an AK47. And how many times you use their own anti-tank weapons against them.

WOW, I just realized something...

Some of the ''death screams'' are used in call of duty modern warfare! when you sometimes kill a arabic man, they make that sound also.

I'm not sure if anyone realized that, seeing as I never played call of duty 2.

Agreed. There was a part that was similar, and in my opinion much more epic, in Brothers in Arms. There's a mission that depicts the actual event of LtCol. Cole's charge. In a last ditch effort, the Airborne troops fixed bayonets and charged through smoke to take the Germans positions. It was pretty fucking awesome

I remember that level, I had that game and part two for my x box and that whole wait for the smoke and charge part was epic man. I gotta say that feeling of running through a smoke filled meadow and onto unseen gunfire was a recipe for shitting my pants.

hmmm.... One of the reasons why COD4 is not explosive as these for COD4 is mainly on stealth and secret operations, and most of the enemies hide their as well as the player... I think this is one of the best in the COD franchise, although COD4 is also great but not too close to this, for just looking at the beginning you can see how difficult it would be in reality and without any support from friendlies and you have a dumbfuck lieutenant as well....

It's a reasonable question! The AK-47 was actually based on the MP-44 and shares many design characteristics although some mechanical functions differ. Obviously the AK is a Kalashnikov weapon but Hugo Schmeisser, the designer of the MP-44 was working in the factory at the time of it's production. The '47' in the name references the year of production.

Ya call of duty 2 Big red one pwns. You have to get helth packs thought to rais your health bar and the weapons are limited. The best part is when you get to operate the ball turret and a wing cannon and spot targets for the bombs in a b4 liberator.

Recorded with Fraps. The resolution you record at seems to make a difference in quality. Obviously, the higher, the better.

Oh, if you mean how well its recorded, speed wise. It depends on how powerful your PC is. Programs like Fraps tend to minimize the performance alot while recording.
