Surprised to find this on here. This was one of the songs our band used to cover (along with some Benatar and the Motels) back in the late 70s and early 80s. We had a really good female vocalist that had the same kind of gritty vocals. What a flashback...thanks for uploading this classic!
i hve this album and of course no turn table to play it on. back when we had the big record player and eight track stereos in our living rooms. those were the days. this i love this album her voice is great. pat benatar stuff for sure
Another CLASSIC Sue Saad/Next tune. Reminds me of the Madame Wong's concerts in Santa Monica & Chinatown. Some great bands up close in those days. Paul Warren & Explorer, The Motels, The Waitresses, 20/20, & more.
Yeah, some good times. Wish I could have gotten into the Masque under the old X theater on Sunset when the Go go's got started or got to see The Pretenders when they played the Santa Monica Civic. I did get to see the Go go's & Scandal at the Roxy when they first got signed and their first albums hit the charts. Damn, Patty Smythe was soooo hot then.
