Those units look good for sure. I don't know I just don't think these newer EMD and GE units have the character the older ones had. Yea, they are more comfortable and safer, but they have a little to be desired in the looks department to me.

nice SD70ACE overhead shot i was wondering like what the top looked like this way I wanted to see the horns especilly they have a very interesting spread pattern I understand its a K5LLA with the K1 bell in revese I allways wondered how these horns achieved such a deep throated mean sound and not the sweet higher pitch like on Amtrak horns
