  • is that all you did was just put the flowmasters on there i just got a 98 3.8 and i want it to sound a little more beefy

  • Yeah thats all I've done. Once I get out of college I plan on doing a little more.

  • Nevermind, I saw the smoke come out of one side so it must be single, thats awesome though, I just got that on my Mustang and it sounds amazing when your driving with the top down.

  • It is actually dual. I noticed the smoke only coming out one side too. Not sure why?

  • If your main pipe is stock and they just branched a pipe off the main one then whats happening is the exhaust is traveling down the main pipe and only feeds a little power to the other muffler, which isnt half and half but more like 3/4 and 1/4. You get most the sound out of the left exauhst and just a little out of the right. and in cold weather it will show up more and give away that it's not true dual. I think it sounds good. So you have two 40 series mufflers or one stock and one 40?

  • I have two 40 series mufflers. They just ran straight pipe all the way to the mufflers. There is no mid pipe.

  • huh, then the smoke is a strange thing. lol

  • Is that a single or dual?
