Mini-Helikopter "Vortex" mit Onboard-Kamera - erster Testflug

achso du hast einfach die kamera unten auf den heli geklebt klingt gut, was hat die kombination dann gekostet?

@poeli1 Diese Mini-Kameras (Keycams) kosten in der SD-Version unter 10 Euro, in der HD-Version (Keycam #11) unter 30 Euro bei Ebay. Das war damals nur ein Test, ich würde auf jeden Fall einen größeren Helikopter empfehlen.

@CrEaTiVePyroScience The Vortex XL can lift a 15g keycam, but the little heli is on its limit then, and it works only for a very short time. Therefore, I recommend you to buy another (bigger) RC helicopter if you really want to lift a 15g cam up into the air.

no damn the helikopter sucks it crashes all the time vortex is not a good qualiti buy a nitro

@BartdeF1 For video editing I use MAGIX video deluxe 17; it is fast, has lots of functions and I am very satisfied with it. Since I've never used Windows Movie Maker, I don't know if picture rotation is possible with this program.

@BartdeF1 MAGIX video deluxe is a commercial software; the previous version 16 is still being sold, now at a reduced price (Amazon etc.), and it's also very recommendable.

I've buy the micro-cam,

and I made a video, you can see him on my channel.

But how do you put it on the helicopter so it stays on?

@BartdeF1 I mount the camera upside down underside the helicopter using velcro tape. After the flight, I turn the video around using my video editing software.

@maartensabine445 For detailed info about all keycams I recommend Chuck Lohr's review website (search for "chucklohr 808" in Google). I have the Vortex heli since one year and it's very nice and durable. But if you want a heli for onboard video, you should choose another (bigger) RC model, e.g. a coaxial helicopter (they fly stable and are quite affordable), because the keycam is the absolute weight limit for the little Vortex. Onboard video is more fun with a bigger helicopter.

@maartensabine445 In this video I used a quite old keycam version. The new cameras have even better video quality (720x480 pixel, microSDHC card) and can be found at Ebay (<10 Euro incl. shipping, search for "key cam"). The weight is only 15g, so you can easily fix a keycam on your plane or helicopter using velcro tape. I am very satisfied with these cameras.

haha die kamera war falsch rum ^^ das datum unten rechts is aufm kopf und müsste oben links sein :D naja kann passieren

Scharf beobachtet, Respekt! Aber die Kamera ist mit voller Absicht "auf dem Kopf" unter den Helikopter montiert: Würde man sie "richtig herum" befestigen, käme man nicht mehr an die Bedienknöpfe ran (die sind oben auf der Kamera)!

Wow, das ist wirklich super-leicht. Für dieses Gesamtgewicht fliegst Du ja wirklich hoch. Mein Superleicht Helis bleiben nicht immer oben sobald in 5-6 Meter Höhe das kleinste Lüftchen weht...
