@kiensmf I finished my first playthrough of this game a few days ago. Its one of the best games I've ever played, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Took me just over 80 hours to finish, without the downloadable content, and it would have easily taken over 100 hours if I'd done everything.

@zerutal349 There is a trick you can do in Lothering. Talk to the old poison-wantinng man in the town's inn and buy lot's of trap trigger. Go to the lady who wants traps and she'll keep taking them (in the original quest you have to give her three to finish the quest) since you bought them from the old man. You level up pretty fast and make a lot of money at the same time.

I had a similar problem though it was with a different game (World of Warcraft). Not sure if it's the same problem or not but I would try updating your drivers. Go to the website of whatever company supports your graphics card and see if there's any new drivers you can download. Hope I helped a litle,lol.

I'm playing it at the hardest setting atm but I micro-manage everything (even turned off the tactics/AI) to have maximum control of everything ^.^ - takes some time but it's worth it (did the same thing back in the Icewind Dale/Baldur's Gate days)

This game is so cheap. It's complicated, yes, but graphics, movements and animations, the models detail, illumination, and even playability, SUCK BIG. I regret to have dedicated some hours on it.

If you take out the cinemas (not the boring chats), there's nothing than a mediocre, deep game. This crap is no close to look or feel like KotOR or Mass Effect. I hated it and consider it to be a total hoax fed by hype.

@MrFahqup Some of the spells their mage has probably are too high for this stage of the game, but this video is a year old so maybe there were changes made in gameplay since then.

This mage isn't the one who joins you if you are a rogue or warrior, it's supposed to be a PC mage, so the spells wouldn't necessarily be what the game would give you, it would be what the player chose.

@driessen666 It's a single player game, so yes, you control the whole party's actions. You can, if you wish, micro-manage every character in the party (that's what I did), or you can set them with combat tactics, which give them various options in combat depending on situations. Tactics are highly customizable, but the game also comes with a number of pre-sets (Archer, Healer, Tank, etc.) so you don't have to fiddle too much with this if you don't want.

The pc has been used for games since the commodor 64. Youngster. There are great games for both pc and consoles. The pc is more powerful you get better graphics faster frame rate and more control. You must have a good modern pc though not a walmart special.

Depends if you like this type of game. I love RPG games and this is quickly becoming one of my favourite games. Your computer does need to be quite beefy though, if you want to truly enjoy the amazing graphics

The difficulty settings is kind of brutal though, but in a good way. Expect to be using plenty of potions in multiple fights and dieing a lot. :)

RPG's are effective on Gamecubes playstations and handhelds, FPS are effective on Pc and Xbox.
