i think the beat of this song is a metaphor for the fights that take place to them the song is constantly looping theres a slow build up then it loops again its like the ppl fighting alucard think they are winning and they are about to merc him then they realize really they are back to square one cause he wasnt fighting seriously

Actually, one thing I like about the Japanese is Jouji Nakata (Alucard). For some strange reason, his Japanese almost has a Transylvanian/Romanian sound to it.

I thought I heard something on OVA 5 being planned to be released somewhere mid-September in English...

And now OVA 6 is released (of course, I already watched it), and I'd love to see that one in English too. Maxwell has a way too deep voice in Japanese if you're used to the English one xD

And you can't hear accents like Maxwell's, or Schrödinger's, or Pip's in Japanese... xD

And all the British accents, and Anderson's badass accent. Dub > Sub in the case of Hellsing.

That and the Major doesnt sound quite as insane in the sub when he's giving his big "I love war" speech. The dub of that was EPIC.

Yes that speech was great, he really sounds more insane in the dub. And Alucard has a way better voice in English. Waaaaay nicer to listen to.

Actually, everyone sounds better and more like their character in English..

Btw, you should search for the German one, it's hilarious xD Schrö has a 50 yr old's voice, and the rest also sounds like crap. xD

I agree. I read that someone liked the Japanese better so I watched it. Or I tried to. I got 5 minutes into it and I was thiinking "WTF, this is worse?! It's not horrible, but I can't make out any voice distinction (as usual. Because Japanese is so inflection based, it's hard to maintain a solid emotion when speaking it)."

Besides the fact that you can't hear accents and dialects in Japanese, it's also more fitting to watch the English dub. After all, Hellsing takes place in London... xD

It'll probably take very long before it's released in English, because some other company took over the English production and they're not so much into translating it. I don't even know if it will be dubbed at all. I truly do hope so!
