  • lol worlds biggest nerd

  • hi

  • Manual override! :DDD lol

Can you imagine how fun physics classes would be if all demonstration videos would be like this

  • Random Query: How many fire extinguishers do you go through on a week-to-week basis, anyway?

  • physics! :D

  • I see you love the so called splosions and destroying stuff

  • haha! Hilarious! I love the headbanging cow! Cute and funny at the same time!! :)

  • if energy cant be destroyed or made then how was it made?

  • We can't destroy or create energy. Same as we can't destroy or create matter. However, we can change matter into energy, and change one form of energy into another.

  • It's a shame science hasn't gotten very far with creating matter from energy though. I'd like to have my Replicator (and teleporter, holodeck, etc) now, please. :)

  • @TaoOfPooh26 well we havn't even created energy yet. plus if we could create matter then you better sign up for cloning O:

  • very good question!

  • u should do a vid on tht household hackers hovershoes

  • Why do you square the gravity value? My teachers never really explained that to me.

  • Because if it weren't squared it'd be velocity instead of acceleration. Meters per second is velocity, which is distance over time traveled. Acceleration is an increase of velocity (meters per second) over a period of time (second). Hence why it's seconds squared. If that doesn't explain it very well, let me know and I'll see if I can dig up a better example than me rambling. :)

  • That's perfect! Exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you very much.

You taught me more in that short paragraph than what most of my teachers could do in a week.

  • Thank you, though that kinda sucks in a way. :/ See if any of them will watch my videos, eh? :)

  • I tried suggesting it before, he wasn't a fan of the death metal at the end. :(

  • Wimp. Just kidding. :) Honestly, if a teacher was interested in using something like that in a class, I could very easily send them a copy minus the music. I keep the raw footage and the video project files for just that reason.

  • I'll see if he's interested, but he's one of those teachers that won't do anything that's not in the text book, which is mainly why I never learn anything.

  • I want three minutes of my life back

  • i guess you dont like physics

  • haha your videos are fab darling! :)

  • i saw this guy on tv

  • My teacher lit him shelf in the face to demonstrate potential energy, god bless his soul, RIP Mr.Green!

  • 3 words:

    Head

    Banging

    Cow!

I believe that should be included in just about everything now.

  • fire fire fire i love fire haha

  • i think i know what! LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT SHALL WE! HAHAHAHAHAH oh um sorry...

  • If you like this video, give it a "thumbs-up" vote at the link at the top of the description. If you didn't like the video, why are you still HERE?? Go watch something else, then! Shoo! :/

  • when in doubt, BURN IT WITH FIRE!

  • a bit too much talking - i had to fast forward to the experiments...

  • Make more videos please! YOU HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol i want you as my teacher lol

  • i'm definitely diggin the fire at the end, looks like something that my friends would rig up

  • I don't believe in gravitational potential energy.

  • LMAO

  • lol nub

  • i wish my science teacher would have made it fun like you did with fire and all. he just used a science book and put it on a desk and was like that has potential energy.

  • Most of my science teachers occasionally did fun demonstrations, but I understand I was one of the lucky ones in that respect.

Not so much with 'flames, but demonstrations of involving small fireballs, beds of nails, liquid nitrogen, sodium metal, and molten lead weren't too uncommon.

  • my teacher burned himself to demonstrate that energy can really hurts. RIP.

  • We totally agree, that's exactly what it was missing. Great way to make science even more fun.

  • Good explination of basic science. Keep going!

  • I don't use imperical units.

And I wasn't aware that my statement sounded like anything. But hey, what do I know?

  • Just making conversation, ya know.

    "imperical units"?

empirical = Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment

    You mean "imperial" units, yes?

  • Lawl.

    You pwned me.

    My give up.

  • wow, that's awesome, you look pyro, just like me lol :P

  • Note to those posting comments. If it's spam, it will be removed before anyone gets to read it (approval is on). Also, if it's a video response, please let it be something remotely related to science, or actually BE in response to my video. Much appreciated, thanks!

  • are you a mad scientist?

  • It is dangerously stupid hahahah

  • i do not like ur theories...u r human...so i will let it pass...from titiniun man1

  • Be sure to stay clear when I'm performing high-voltage demonstrations. Aluminum foil - er - "titanium" tends to conduct electricity.

  • please get your hands on some francium and tape yourself throwing it into some water!!

  • Believe me, it's somewhere on my list of things-to-do.

  • the lab coat gives you so much credibility.

    good vid.

  • Well, I don't think it'd fit the "mad scientist" shtick very well if I was standing there in a mauve smoking jacket and flip-flops, would it?

    Heh.

  • Very well done, now please explain to us how we can convert the potential energy around us into practical renewable energy to solve our current energy problems, thank you

  • It looks like I'll need to send you a document regarding conservation of energy so you'll understand the inherent silliness to your question. Heh.

  • Great science video, my tearchers could learn a thing or two from you!!!

  • Feel free to tell your science teacher. They might like it. I started doing these videos because I was giving science demos to kids in local city schools. Thought I'd film some you can't exactly do in class. :)

  • conservation of energy, and mass. ;D

  • thats badass

  • science was always over my head when i was in school, probably why i went to college for english. ha, but nice explanation. the head banging cow though gets 5 stars and the fire and explosions.

  • Thanks. What, no grammatical mistakes in this one? ;)

  • I am taller than you

  • bad

  • hahaha! i freaking love the fire in the end! you can watch this video and not even be interested in science but you'd still feel satisfied in the end. *sigh* i love being a man.

  • That's kinda what I try to do with the videos. Have something educational (usually), along with something being creatively destroyed. Kinda like a cross between Bill Nye, a keg of Thermite, and the Tasmanian Devil...or something like that anyhow.

  • correction..you love being a "bitch ass girly man"

  • Psychological projection (or projection bias): A defense mechanism in which one attributes one's own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or/and emotions to others.

That must be hard for you.

  • Maybe you're projecting his projection back onto him.

  • I do not wish to entertain hypothetical scenarios at this time.

    /sarcasm

  • omg i learning this in my school!

  • See if your teacher will show this video to their class! Probably not. But it'd be teh win if they did.

IM IN UR CLAZ, BLOWIN UP BRIKZ

  • lol engery dusnt mean *lifts up dungbell* i have the power lol

  • Well, no. But it was fun!

  • it luks it 2

  • Does potential energy really exist? I mean, does it really? Nah.

  • I know I may not explain it as well as some, but it's fundamental physics, really, easily verified and mathematically/empirically proven.

  • I understand, seeing how you've just shown it. My point was more philosophical, and I know how much physicists hate philosophers. Personally, I wouldn't call what you're demonstrating "potential energy", but hey, people coined the term before I was able to do anything about it, so it stuck.

  • lol epic

  • duuuude :o

  • End part! :)

  • If I knew how to "make gold," I would have completely destabilized the world's economies and have already inserted a shadow puppet government controlling everything in my name...not to mention have a way better camera. Note I don't have a way better camera.

  • Nice!

  • dude, that was awesome. what r u gonna cover next? magnetism, electricty? I can't wait for another ep!

  • Thanks. Actually, I'm planning on working with magnesium. I like how it burns and stuff. And I have a few pieces of satirical content planned with it as well, but I'm not revealing any of THAT just yet. Ruins the punchline.

  • Get your hands on some sodium while at it, will you?

  • I produced my own using electrolysis when I was in high school. I will get around to it, eventually.

  • oh, yes! i love fire. Just dont do oil lamps w/ lamp oil. I got a 3 in flaame from only a tbls of that stuff. Oh u should try change the color of the flame, I learned that u can change the color by adding potassium or some other kind of mineral thing. I m just balbin away aren't i? srry, anyways can't wait 4 ur ext episode. and i think ill do that prank on my sister 4 her birthday. XD

  • LOL. =D

  • I have that cow...lol when you press the bottom it collapses

  • And if you hit the front of the button JUST right, you can make it head-bang! BWAHAHA!

  • LOL, I hope you live outside the city limits...

  • I don't. I actually did THAT at my in-laws. Get this, they're fans. :) However moving way out of town is a goal for me. Think about what sort of 'splodey plans I have then!

  • Entertaining, as always. :D

  • Something is missin... Whooosh :Đ

  • Hahahaha! I Was just thinking fire when you said it was missing somthing, too. Ha, I love this one and the one "Breakin' Flamin' Boards and the Leidenfrost Effect". Your so cool.

  • Hahahahahaha!

  • i love you have my man babys

  • lol

  • well taoOfpooh you a bit of a pyromaniac :P (i don't care it makes the vids more interesting)

  • Nice vid! Nice fire. Helluva nice mess!

  • lol fire good!

  • Awesome! Yeah! Yay! see this? THis is a 30 pound dumbell... lol

  • *Thumbs Up*
