  • 'Great Video ,you only missed the removal of the firing pin and the removal of slide from breech lock ,can you do a video on lighting the fN Fal trigger i think mine is probably like 12lbs :))))

  • The butt stock tool is a plus. It makes life so much easier.

  • If you dont have a buttstock removal tool you can loosen the nut with a quarter. then insert a small caliber pistol cleaning rod through the hole in the nut untill the handle almost touches the nut. slowly unscrew the nut and be ready for the spring pressure. works really good with the end of the barrel resting on the floor.

  • Excellent video! I had to pull the trigger and sear out on mine when I was installing the FA sear (post dealer sample on a preban Imbel receiver... all sorts of fun there between the paperwork and the actual build. I don't really recommend it to anyone), and it took me about 30 minutes to get the damn thing back in. I don't recommend trying it unless you absolutely have no other choice.

  • Thats an awesome video, can you explain how to remove the reciever catch?Im not sure how to explain what piece Im talking about.Im having it duracoated and it has to be completely disassembled. Thanks

  • hey verry nice video! i learned much from it!

i own a stg 58 steyr daimler puch fal al numbers match its in verry good condition but do you now if the qualitiy of the steyr fal is better than the english one ore the fn? my fal works proper on german men ammo on gas position 5.5 do you no how to remove the bullet extractor want to clean under it !it is spring loaded i think

    btw im from holland

    thumbs up!

  • @MrCvjetko Glad you enjoyed the video. As far as quality, pretty much all FALs are of top quality (the exception are those that have been shoddily constructed by importers, and many aren't fond of Indian FALs)

  • @MrCvjetko They sell a tool for the extractor, but you can remove it out with a loaded cartridge (or a punch.) Simply make a fist around a cartridge so the bullet is pointing out with your thumb. Hook the tip of the bullet in the recess in the extractor plunger and put your thumb on the back end of the bolt and pull the plunger back. Then pull the extractor out with your other hand. Do the same to put it back in. Just be careful, the extractor spring has a LOT of pressure on it.

  • What is the white section in the tip of the stock tool for? I bought my stock tool used. It doesn't come with it. Is my stock tool still gonna work?

  • @ichimonjiguy

That's just a brass tip, not necessary.

  • I wasn't sure how to take out the locking lever. Now it looks like a piece of cake. Thank you so much elal757.

  • i thought aout saving up for a fal by dsa. whats ur opinion on those?

  • Thanks for posting!!!

  • how much do fal cost

  • about $1200 bucks

a friend of mine's dad got an awesome deal on a fal paratrooper... only $400.

  • @eagerbeaver53 Fall is not $1200. I bought a good Imbel fal for about $700 recently.

  • you dont have to do all this to clean it do you?

  • no, it just needs to be field stripped... remove regulator, piston, spring, and bolt.

  • i payed for a carbine and i was wondering where i could get some digital camo for it and an ar-15 but stock? would appreciate the help and will upload all photos as soon as all mods are made

  • holly crap man. If I took mine apart it would not go back together wo professional help. How do you keep that straight?

  • Pretty Cool, I have a headache just watching you doing all that, It seems like a lot to do, I want to do the same on my DSA SA58 and I hope I can do it without screwing the whole rifle, LOL. I'm gonna watch the reassembly videos to see if my headache goes away, LOL!!!
