The whole solo is like someone crying. There is speed and very flashy type playing, but the overall effect sounds like utter devastation and humility.
This is the best guitar solo I have ever heard. Fuck all those people that say Yngwie has no feel. LOL at "eruption", like that has feel. Anyone have the tab to this solo?
Yngwie pisses all over the Comfortably Numb solo here!! His phrasing and vibrato is nothing short of staggering. How to shred with emotion!! A masterpiece!! Never to be bettered.
Malmsteens phrasing and vibrato on the fade out solo lays waste to everything else. Easily the greatest guitar solo of all time. Read it and weep Yngwie doubters!!
The first time I heard this song, I cried like a baby. I couldn't believe what I was listening to. That was back in 84. I dig it just as much now, and, I dig Yngwie just as much now too. Later, bro.
You just can't get that type of vibrato without emotion.....it drives the notes...just like some good lovin...it's the anticipation, the buildup that makes it good....
It gets my goat this guy is better than that guy arguments. Some people are just tunnel visioned. This was Steve's first band after Zappa and it shows how important the guitarist is as a songwriter cos they both stamp their personality on the music.Love em or hate em Malmsteen and Vai are both awesome musicians. You have to respect great musicians have that their own style. That's the trouble with music now no individualism.A lot of these numetal acts sound the same.
My favourite Ballad ever, my favourite singer ever!!! God Bless Graham bonnet....His voice was just blessed years ago....One of the best vocal performances of all time!!!

One of his most emotional solo, just like the one he did with Steeler ( Serenade). Incredible vibrato...Thanx for posting..
