1977, Star Wars versus Sorcerer....Hum, fantasy against reality, we all know who won back then. But now? This wins for me as it did then. Hated Star Wars!

I'm not a 100% fan of the music choices made in this film, but it does add a truly alien sound to some parts of the story, which is largely man-against-nature. The music seems to say, you do not belong here, and it works. If I was doing the complete soundtrack, I might have put a silly little ditty along the lines of Down Rio Way at the very beginning of the flick for a sense of irony to their otherwise shitty surroundings. The foreign characters actually did CHOOSE to go there!
