We have that here in the states plus you can watch videos or play video games..but it's mostly for the back seat passengers..great idea for long road trips and having kids with you

It could be a show car, so when it's at a car show he can open the boot (trunk) and people can see the TV's, I go to a lot of car shows and there is usually cars with TV's in them.

is it true that a license plat stays with the car for life unlike the us where u can keep changing them. also the tvs in the rear in the us all the people who are arugant or have low self esteem put tvs in the reat seat to show off they have the tvs or to make u feel jealous

I was wondering, are there any passengers watching the TV's? I ask that because some people I've noticed like to show-off that they have TV's in their car, like it is a status thing (at least in my neighborhood). Could it be construed to mean the same thing, even in Japan?

I need to get a bicycle helmet. When I`m cycling home I see most of the Sat-Navs on a TV channel. Yup, they`re watching TV and driving... And I see loads of people chatting on their mobiles - I guess it`s not illegal here in Japan. The other day I was amazed to see someone chatting away on the mobile, with the TV on. I need to get a helmet....

You guys. There's TV in the cars of americans, too. Not in the front, though, in the middle, like if you have little kiddies in the back seat with headphones to watch it. Or the TV's are small and fit into the back of the head-rest in the car, but they 99% always come with headphones. As long as they don't get distracted, it's fine.
