Yuck! MRC should be ashamed. I go Soundtrack Tsunami's all the way man. Pricey but worth every penny.

Was momentum the reason for the loco crashing into the cars? Honestly, the MRC sound isn't very good and the Digitrax is barely better. With Siundtraxx Tsunami relasing a direct board replacement for the Katos, that is the way to go. Also not entirely the decoders fault as the Kato speaker placement would be better with a small oval speaker/enclosure.

I have Kato's 9564 along with the SP 8110. Both units have the Digitrax SDH104K1A installed and they sound closer to prototype than the MRCs in the video. Just my opinion though.
