ESPN really needs to change their hiring practices. If the announcers go to an event, either they need to know what they are talking about or they need to leave out the INACCURATE details. va4cqd got it right. First year of Chevette was 1976. LOL, in 1971, that was the first year of the infamous Vega with the aluminum block without cast iron liners. How could the announcer forget that if he was a car guy or someone capable of research before speaking?
