ran my 1996 4 door Accord ex 5 speed a few times down the quarter mile before putting in my jdm h22. Best was a 16.4 second pass with the f22. I do not remember the mph. With the H22 I only went to the track once but I ran a 15.1 It was packed with people so I only got one run...I'm sure she would do more like 14.8if she didn't bounce bounce bounce spinny then go because I stay right next to an 06 rsx-S time after time on the road.

I buried my 140 speedometer in my 95 accord with the 2.7. Somebody must have messed with it before I bought it. But i baby it and it doesn't have as too many miles so it runs really well. Maybe that had something to do with it.

@WARxSAW Ive had my supra in the snow a lot actually I used to take it up to go snowboarding. LSD rear does awesome in the snow, and gets great mileage too. Big difference is when I stomp the gas the fucker gets moving!!!

Well I built the f22b1 vtec and non with turbo set up.And non has way more power all the way around. Both ports exhaust and intake are larger and rounder. Which I think is the reason it has more. So in my experience fuck vtec. And h22 is just for aluminum block. It's not like I am racing it on the drag strip. Weight reduction and all that racing shit. MAybe for non turbo set-up all engine I would consider vtec

@buddyred13 I hear ya, the Eclipse looks slower on camera! I think cause I cant flat shift it and theres a bit of spool time every shift. but the supra is an 88 7mgte swapped into an 82. Im just gonna be on stock single turbo for the time being, until I get all the bugs worked out. It should be in the nieghborhood of 350 hp at the wheels and knockin on the 12 second mark is what Im hoping for. I want it to do everything well, drift, drag, auto x, ect.

Also Do NOT over Rev the f22 It will blow up Honda did not build that motor to rev over 6500.If u continue to over rev it, It will not last long.I have been through 4 f22`s 2 where Vtec and 2 Where non Vtec.

@raetme1 I took mine to 7 and its still running. With the amount of motors you went through, a H22 or F22 dohc would of been a better alternative, N/a wise
@raetme1 the AUTO accord has a 115 govenor, i can tell you most standards are governed by the rev cut in 5th gear which is well over 135 mph on this car. Even on stock ECU i took my accord up and over 130mph on some trips. Think before you type.
@maddogian1 no one believes that accord can get up to that speed stock unless you show them, my accord ex was automatic stock and no chip when i took it to 140. its now a 5 speed never took it that high since.
@raetme1 buy used get used. next time rebuild, chip, piston n rod and boost it. vtec hit @ 4800 redline @ 7200 with plenty to spare...not to mention the gov gets removed.
btw-2 were vtec 2 were non....so each time you swapped ECUs? hmmm, all that money you could have bout bout a K. silly noob, stay off the bullshit forums before you post on youtube.

@raetme1 it will do over 130. I have a 94 accord ex coupe and i have the f22b1 as well.. only mod is a aem cold air intake. I have hit 130 but it was very shaky and took forever after 115-120. but they will go till the speedo stops, it will just take a few minutes..or hour haha
@raetme1 Actually I accidentally revved mine to about 8200 RPM twice from accidentally downshifting, that was 30K miles ago, still runs like a champ, 189K miles on it & still pulling strong without using a drop of fluids.
@raetme1 the 94-97 accords ex lx dx se autos are governed for 118 but the five speeds keep going up to 134-136 mph depending on your wheel / tire combo. the auto can't handle the rpms thats why it is a automatic / it shifts automatically. also you can't rev past 6500 on the f22 series or you will hit the fuel cut-off built into every computer. can be bypassed by someone who knows what they doing but not very smart unless the WHOLE bottom end is built including the crank, connecting rods etc

F22 ARE BETTER THEN H22, F22VTECH. I HAD A BOOSTED F22B1 DOHC and it had way more balls then when I had a f22vtech. I think it's because of the vtech advancing the timing. But for strength and power i like the f22b1

You couldnt beat anything from a dig, you couldnt autocross, you definitely cant drift, you'd have to run slicks and beefy axles to do anything less than embarrassing at the drags... whats the point of that?! My Supra is almost back together after an engine swap and it will do all of this. It will drift, drag, and most of all have the ability to hook up! Thats the point.

Look idk Both of mine have a Gov at 115. 94 dx vtec swap odb1 and my auto 96 accord ex odb 2. Also 2 of my friends that have had cd5 accords Also had Govs.

Well, coming from a 4cylinder sohc with 160k+ miles...not too shabby id say. Third, my original comment was based more along the lines that a 6cyl (inline or not) such as a 2JZ in the supras.....RB series in the skylines, are tough! BUT they are much bigger and stronger. SO....guess you might need to STOP..

Its a dodge slant six with 2 more cylinders added, and I didnt carry that burnout to half track in 3rd. guess Im burnt...haha.Think its obvious to tell that the Camaro was not on a full pass that run, I had burnout tires with 1/2 in. spacers and the lugs were held on by THREE turns of thread. Not safe. but it normally runs high 12s @ 108. Eclipse is 14 flat at 95. Are those records? FUCK NO. but better than this shit? You bet

@buddyred13 I hear ya, the Eclipse looks slower on camera! I think cause I cant flat shift it and theres a bit of spool time every shift. but the supra is an 88 7mgte swapped into an 82. Im just gonna be on stock single turbo for the time being, until I get all the bugs worked out. It should be in the nieghborhood of 350 hp at the wheels and knockin on the 12 second mark is what Im hoping for. I want it to do everything well, drift, drag, auto x, ect.

Well.. that looked fun. To bad the 94-97 accord has a Governor at 115 mph. most of them hit at about 112. Also Do NOT over Rev the f22 It will blow up Honda did not build that motor to rev over 6500.If u continue to over rev it, It will not last long.I have been through 4 f22`s 2 where Vtec and 2 Where non Vtec.

@raetme1 the AUTO accord has a 115 govenor, i can tell you most standards are governed by the rev cut in 5th gear which is well over 135 mph on this car. Even on stock ECU i took my accord up and over 130mph on some trips. Think before you type.

@raetme1 it will do over 130. I have a 94 accord ex coupe and i have the f22b1 as well.. only mod is a aem cold air intake. I have hit 130 but it was very shaky and took forever after 115-120. but they will go till the speedo stops, it will just take a few minutes..or hour haha

@raetme1 Actually I accidentally revved mine to about 8200 RPM twice from accidentally downshifting, that was 30K miles ago, still runs like a champ, 189K miles on it & still pulling strong without using a drop of fluids.

@raetme1 the 94-97 accords ex lx dx se autos are governed for 118 but the five speeds keep going up to 134-136 mph depending on your wheel / tire combo. the auto can't handle the rpms thats why it is a automatic / it shifts automatically. also you can't rev past 6500 on the f22 series or you will hit the fuel cut-off built into every computer. can be bypassed by someone who knows what they doing but not very smart unless the WHOLE bottom end is built including the crank, connecting rods etc

F22 ARE BETTER THEN H22, F22VTECH. I HAD A BOOSTED F22B1 DOHC and it had way more balls then when I had a f22vtech. I think it's because of the vtech advancing the timing. But for strength and power i like the f22b1
