I don't really like Gossip Girl. Its too unrealistic. The OC dealt with real life problems(it wasnt all about girlfriends and boyfriends and gossip and all that crap) unlike Gossip Girl. And Adam Brody's humour completely changed it, in a good way;) But it started to suck after Marissa died.

Neither of them are particularly award-worthy shows, but they're just SO ADDICTIVE.

Love 'em both, but Gossip Girl has me rooting for characters more than the O.C. did. Summer and Seth were cute, but I wasn't DYING to see them together like I am with Blair and Chuck. Plus, in my opinion, the acting in Gossip Girl beats out the OC (excluding the older generation actors; Julie was stellar).

And, on the shallower side of things, the Gossip Girl characters just radiate more beauty. :P

well, i´ve to say that it´s true that i like the oc but that was only the two first seasons, marissa sicks me with her unfinished problems with ryan... the only thing that make that i see the oc for the final is Seth/summer relation... but, personality i think GOSSIP GIRL is much better, juicy, hot and much things more.. that is no comparation..

the oc had better actors. ed/chuck and leighton/blair are really good actors but the others suck. blake lively has a really important role but her acting is anything but amazing and she doesn't seem to have chemistry with any of the other characters.
