  • THUMBS UP IF U THINK ZELDA RAPES SKYRIM!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!! I especially like the outset island part!

  • 4:47 The Goddammit Great Sea :´)

  • Could some one name all the songs in a comment?

  • It's like Wind Waker in 10 minutes!

  • lol. the tags say gamecuDe. supposed to be gamecuBe

  • Best theme in the CD! 10 and a half minutes of beauty.

  • 2:45 - 3:00 I-I-I'm not c-c-crying, why would you say that...

  • Hey... I thought this was Wind Waker... 2:05 sounds like Kokiri Forest to me.

  • @thedivinity24136

That's Outset Island! That place's music does take parts from the Kokiri Forest theme.

  • My nipples literally got hard at 6:06.

  • 3:07 reminds me of groose theme :D

  • 9:18 is what you're looking for

  • Who here still thinks Wind Waker is the best!?!?!

  • @MalcolmSith Wind Waker is my favorite game by far, but I think Twilight Princess had a better arrangement for this particular CD.

  • Nostalgic.

  • Proof that video game music can and often does rise above mainstream compositions and even films scores.

  • Best bgm music ever :)

  • i love 9:20

  • I love the lullaby played with the violin

  • Oh and, I could tell out the final boss theme in only a few notes. I like gasped. "THIS ONE'S HERE TOO!"

  • Wind waker is and will always be my favorite elda Game. It is not my first, but my second. It was better than my first, a gameboy advanced one. I cried when I finished it, I didn't want it to be over, but really, to me it's never over. I loved that game so much.

  • 9:55 Goosebumps

and yes the Outset Island part was excellent

  • Wind Waker Is my Childhood (well, any zelda game really) but wind waker is my favorite, it's so diverse. I love the graphics, gameplay is the smoothest and the music has always blown my mind.

  • I love Ganon's theme in this game! It's just amazing.

  • 9:16 to 10:10 might be my favorite zelda music i've ever heard. It's a really close toss up between that section, song of storms and any Gerudo Valley.

  • Has there ever been a zelda game not worth playing...

  • Lovely.

  • 9:13

    I cried.

  • I COULD TAKE CUPS OF DRUGS! SO MUCH HYPE

  • I can't stop playing this CD and especially this track. Makes me want to play the game again.

  • The music plays a big part as to why The Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game of all time, and my second favorite overall :)

  • I think I nerded at 6:06.

  • @TheChibiBuizel Where in the game is this cue found? It's awesome but I don't remember it

  • @blakerichardsondude I don't know if it's in Wind Waker but it was part of the opening music for A Link To The Past.

    /watch?v=OA_3wKUOcBY

  • @Hank3590 Ah thanks, that's been bugging me for a while. Don't know why it was included in the Wind Waker symphony though

  • @blakerichardsondude I believe it's the title theme from A Link to the Past.

  • Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game of all time; I grew up with it. I cried when I heard all the songs I loved from this game. They put all the right songs together on this movement, and it was sooooo nostaligic. I love this game and definitely its music too!!! Go Wind Waker!!!!!

  • Just amazing!

  • 04:46 to 06:04 gives me goose bumps every single time. The CD is mastered beautifully too, with a proper dynamic range of 14 db. Amazing.

  • I was just raped by this song.. I loved every second of it

  • What 4 people were on meth when they watched this to dislike it?

  • 9:19 Manly tears were shed.

  • I want to play Wind Waker now.

  • It's like they knew what my favorite Zelda game is and dedicated an entire song to it.

  • I actually cried...

  • If the wii-u makes another artistic game like tloz windwaker my life will be complete

  • 7:35 So fucking intense! I love it!

  • they should make a game where they go back to the bottom of the sea and get the master sword out of ganondorfs head :P

  • 3:11 groose

  • @qwertyrev1 That actually really annoyed me in Skyward Sword. The reuse of music completely took me out of the game because I would go "Why does Groose have the pirate theme?" and then feel the urge to put the controller down and go play through WW again.

  • @sozizzy Movies reuse footage why can't video games reuse music?

  • @111111shredder I'm not saying they can't, in fact it can be really effective.

It's just that in this case I found it weird that they took a theme associated with specific characters, played it backwards on a trombone, and gave it to a completely different character.

Over-world and generic themes I expect to be redone ("Inside A House" like four times now...), but character themes? Ennhhh... that's like using the "Imperial March" for Darth Maul.

  • @sozizzy I kind of thought of Groose as a possible ancestor to the royal family, which later became the pirates. Toward the end of the game, once he grew out of his goofyness, his personality screamed Gonzo and Alonzo to me, that sort of protector role.

  • I love how inbetween each song it's the ocean theme, because that's how it was in the game (captain obvious)

  • This is my favorite track on the symphony CD. I even took the time to transpose some of the notes on flute. It's so fun to play!

  • Favorite part: Ganondorf Battle Theme 07:37

  • I love the intro song... I love Outset Island's song... I love Tetra's ship song... I love the song that sounded when you were in the ocean... I love Ganon's theme... I love Makar's song...

Can this be the best soundtrack in all the Zelda's games?

  • @MetalFuruude If they had somehow fit a song of storms into this game, I would agree.

  • I hurt people that keep me from listening to this music...

  • 7:38

Gotta love bass trombone pedal F's

  • Oh my god. This is great

  • 0:48 to 2:28 is so Goddamn beautiful...

  • @Dromar417 The whole thing is beautiful. In every sense of the word.

  • @Dromar417 Do you know what theme that was? I'm dying to remember.

  • @KevSoVideos Outset Island, where Link lives

  • 3.20 sounds like groose's theme

  • @jrcbroolz kinda does but I think its more of the pirate ship theme.Or maybe they took that and put it in skyward sword

  • 9:19 Lalalalalala

  • Beautiful... :')

  • One word... BOSS

  • I had nostalgia running through me the entire.

  • Definitely brings back the nostalgia on this one.

  • Wind Waker had really artistic graphics! I don't care if some people don't like it! I Love it It makes more of a Nintendo Game than it was.

  • @Lucariogamer14 You are absolutely right, Back when Wind Waker was first released i refused to buy it just because of toon link... needless to say i almost missed out on a very epic game, and I am glad that i finally played it

  • The music was epic and adorable at the same time though...

  • Oh, I never got to the end of Wind Waker, cause my sister stole all my games and sold them....

  • @alphasigua

    She did WHAT?!

    That little bitch...

  • Wind waker is one of the Zeldas I enjoyed most, second only to Ocarina of Time. The moment when you first arrive in Hyrule can only be described in 1 word...EPIC!.

  • 4:50 made me smile

  • ...ah finally got up to Gannon...OWWWW Get pwned link, Jesus! hooooOOOOLLLYYY SHIT TRIFORCE NOOOOO GANNON!!!!.... Nice! epic save King, good jo- OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG THE WHOLE OCEAN IS COLLAPSING QUE 7:37

  • When I heard Makar's Prayer, i was spent.

  • Out of all the tracks on this disc, a few made me tear up but THIS one had me literally balling. As soon as the credits theme started up I was like "Oh, you bastards, you would wouldnt you...? ToT

  • ... Three favorite games and songs;

    1. Skyward Sword- Goddess theme.

    2. Twilight princess- Gerudo Valley.

    3. Wind Waker- The sage's songs (up up down right left right, down down stop right left stop.)

The Zelda theme is my favorite piece of music ever. The genius' who created Zelda are GODS.

  • literally i cried at the end...

  • My favorite Zelda game. Listening to this brings so much nostalgia.

  • favorite song from the soundtrack ^_^

  • That last minute and a half or so is just amazing

  • Ahh this song is beautiful. One minute i'm in the middle of an ocean on a boat and the next thing I know i'm in battle. If music can do that, you know it's good.

  • Wind Waker is my favorite game in the zelda franchise. Although people complain about the cell shaded and cartoonish graphics i think the suit the game. I mean, hell, your a boy who just entered manhood.

  • This music plays and my eyes well up with nostalgia and memories of how great this game was and the extremely happy and satisfying ending.

  • Wind Waker has great music but I just cannot get over the cartoon graphics. For me it bastardizes Zelda and makes it too childish especially when Majora's Mask was extremely demented lol.

  • Nearly fainted and/or jizzed at 7:38

  • Great music! I relly liked the wind waker, also exuse me if I misspelld anything,I'm from sweden

  • Whoever is responsible for this orchestrating/arrangement is a genious. I hope they come to Brazil, Video Games Live is always here, so..

  • 2:47

    ALL OF MY TEARS

  • I cried a little...

  • this was the first Zelda game i ever played and is my favorite video game of all time i think it has the best soundtrack of all the Zelda games too

  • I love Wind Waker's music so much. As far as music went, it is probably my favorite.

  • I can barely hear it.

  • Actually I think Wind Waker was the LESS diverse in terms of music. A lot of the songas are variations of songs in Ocarina of Time. For example, both Forest Haven AND Outset Island have bits and pieces of Kokiri Forest.

  • @Julio3324 Well, you get the concept of the wind waker. WInd waker was made to get money to develop de twilight princess. The Wind Waker it's a tribute of the other Zelda's. That's why there's the "same" music and the "same" quizes or bosses from others zeldas.

    I'm not a virgin

  • @Baphometherion Sorry for the ortografic disasters. :)

  • @Julio3324 Don't forget Windfall Island. Also, Forest Haven? I don't know. But either way, they changed the music enough so that it got a unique feel.

  • @Lizzehmeh /watch?v=lz4f40uVa8Y

  • At 9:10 …. what song is that?

  • @Lizzehmeh This is the Wind Waker Title Screen.

  • @Talgoran This isn't the music from the title screen, It's a blend of the music through out the game

  • NOBODY CARES WHAT YOUR FAVORITE GAMES ARE THEY'RE ZELDA GAMES THEY ARE ALL GOOD!!!

  • @NaryaRingOfFire The CD-i games would like to have a word with you.

    So would your Caps Lock.

  • Wind Waker, the Best Zelda game for me, story, music, world, characters, all is Awsome !

  • Jesus, that Ganondorf battle theme is amazing in orchestra.

  • man, what's the music from 6:05, it sounds so familiar

  • @hewtoi That part is from where the Triforce of Wisdom reveals Tetra is Princess Zelda.

  • @hewtoi This is the jingle that plays right before file select in, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, for SNES.

  • The great thing about Zelda games we can all say which ones our favorites are for example I think Ocarina of Time is the best game ever period but they are all so good we can't get mad when someone picks another one cause it's like yea that one's awesome too :D

  • 6:44 is what music from the game. ',: l

  • @TheCobam Dunno bout that one part, but directly after it is the boss music when you fight Ganondorf, and right after it is the main theme.

  • @TheCobam This is when link is learning he is the hero after the tower of the gods before he defends in to Sealed hyrule!

  • @TheCobam It's when the King of Red Lions is talking to you when you first meet up with him i think

  • 9:56 is my favorite part!!! they are playing Outset Island and the Title theme at the same time!!!

  • 4:47 to 5:00 what is the instrument, trombone:)

  • @Trekkoazam No I think it's Euphoniums. Trombones sound slightly 'brighter' than a Euphonium

  • 7:35 - 9:10

    Period.

  • @DanielLadson read my prev comment. I had a change of heart

  • My favorites:

    Skyward Sword

    Ocarina of time

    Wind Waker

    Twilight Princess

    Majora's Mask

  • That one dislike was Demise.

  • after 2 days i changedhmy mind windwaker moced to 3

  • UGHUGHUGH, 7:30 to 9:08. Such an epic battle, where the storyline and the scenery just meshed into perfect, solemn, horrific grandeur. And the music to it would have been very tough to make better. I myself remember the eerie singing of the choir very fondly, I would have loved to see that on the movement. But they still did a fantastic job. <333

  • @DanielLadson It is a matter of opinion. I have been with zelda since the original. Musically and graphically WW was beautiful, yet a dissapointing (in this case.i.meant confusing) plotline

  • @21Narutoking No offence, but personally I thought Wind Waker had some of the better storylines amongst the Zelda games. The Hyrule you've once known and loved is now flooded, the ancient kingdom is actually sealed in time, Ganondorf actually has a proper motive for trying to rule Hyrule (pun not intended) instead of being another mindless, power hungry villain, just to name a few.

  • @DanielLadson Agreed, though Majora's Mask still has the most emotionality of, hell, even all video games ever in existence.

  • @DanielLadson yeah, it's probably my favorite loz game. the story is so great, and the characters and art design are beautiful.

  • Oh my lord. The part that starts at 9:19 till the end. That whole chunk is my favorite. It makes me wanna jump into one of the Zelda games like...Steve did in Blues Clues...and dance.

  • My faves

    1. Skyward Sword

    2. AlttP

    3. Majoras Mask

    4. Oot

    5. Twilight Princess

    6. Wind Waker (dissapointing)

    7. Oracle games

    8.original 2

  • @21Narutoking Wind Waker? DISAPPOINTING? *shakes head*. If you're a true Zelda fan, or heck, just any fan of games in general, I'm disappointed in you. No joke would EVER put Twilight Princess before Wind Waker.

  • @DanielLadson Personal opinion. I prefer Twilight Princess to Wind Waker. I'd say Skyward Sword was dissapointing, it's so bland.

  • @CallumDark Why is it bland? I loved it!

  • @CallumDark That's interesting. I can see why one would see Skyward Sword as bland (not me, it's my personal GOTY 2011 along with Portal 2), but not Wind Waker - or disappointing, for that matter. Mind telling me what about Wind Waker put you off so much? I'm assuming the new art direction, or the sailing, or the Triforce Fetch Quest... it's always one of these three...

  • @DanielLadson Why did Tingle have to be so GREEDY?! and WEIRD at the same time too!

  • @ zombierobopirate- Why are you watching this video, then?

  • I may be a percussionist, but the clarinets at 6:44 are amazing. The bass drum at 9:14 is AWESOME!!! even if it's a short part.

  • WIND WAKER IS MY FAVORITE VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME!!! I grew up with it and it got me into the series. My favorite are:

    1. Wind Waker

    2. Twilight Princess

    3. Majora's Mask

    4. Ocarina

    5. Phantom Hourglass

Spirit Tracks is the worst in my opinion. I've never been able to finish it because I hate it so much.

  • My favorites: all :3

  • 1. Link's Awakening

    2. Majora's Mask

    the rest suck

  • @zombierobopirate

    Hipster alert.

  • @zombierobopirate your just idiote in my opionion so just get out theis video if your not going to say goo dthings please

and no one likes you in real life problably

  • 1. The Wind Waker

    2. Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask.

    4. Twilight Princess

    5. Link's Awakening

  • 5. Link's Awakening

    4. Majora's Mask

    3. Skyward Sword

    2. A Link to the Past

    1. THE WIND WAKER

Seriously, amongst all the Zeldas, Wind Waker is the best there is. Beautiful art direction, improved combat gameplay, HUGE exploration... it's amazing how some people don't recognize the genius of WInd Waker.

  • @DanielLadson Oh and I forgot... the MUSIC! The music in Wind Waker is so gorgeous and diverse, it clearly tops ANY Zelda title in terms of listening pleasure.

  • @DanielLadson I know what you're saying. Wind Waker gets no respect. It's my favorite of all time too, partially because I grew up with it and it was my first Zelda game. Also, I love all of the exploration too. Phantom Hourglass was good too. It's Spirit Tracks I hate. I hate the travel restrictions and Princess Zelda is such a priss. She was so different from Tetra I couldn't get used to her. WIND WAKER FOREVER!!!!

  • @BigCheesy900 Wind Waker gets recognized as a great game nowadays - heck, quite a lot of people consider it to be the best Zelda - but you wouldn't believe the amount of criticism it got when it was first released. Seriously, people bitching that the new art style or the sailing completely ruined the game for them - it's ridiculous.

The only reason why I can think you would ever dock WW points is because of the Triforce Shards fetch quest, but it's only a small flaw in such a phenomenal game.

  • 1. Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask

    4. Ocarina of Time

    5. Wind Waker

    6. Minish Cap

    7. A Link to the Past

  • In terms of Music i think Wind Waker is the most diverse in the series, i think it's because each individual major island has it's own theme, every boss has a distinct and memorable theme. While in most of the Zelda games the majority of the music comes from the Hyrule Field and the boss themes aren't that memorable I mean come on, Molgeras boss music, best boss music period of all time.

  • @bleep196 I highly agree

  • mine is

    1. Skyward sword

2.Wind waker [Its great carton and nice music]

    3. Twilight Princess

    4,Majora's Mask

    5. Ocarina of Time

    Yeah Thats mine favorite :)

  • Meh, I guess I'll say mine too.

    1. Skyward Sword

    2. Majora's Mask

    3. Ocarina of Time

    4. Twilight Princess

    5. Wind Waker/Link's Awakening (Can't decide)

  • •Skyward Sword;

    •Ocarina of Time;

    •Twilight Princess;

    •Majora's Mask;

    •Spirit Tracks (SERIOUSLY)

  • my top favorite zelda games are:

    1.Twilight

    2.Ocarina

    3.Skyward

my favoite zelda games in terms of music

    1.wind waker

    2.twilight princess

    3.minish cap

  • I love this game. It's my favourite game on the Game cube (Sorry for the vocabulary, I'm French)

  • 1.Twilight Princess

    2.Ocarina of Time

    3.Skyward Sword

    4.Wind Waker

    5.Majoras Mask

  • Where do the parts at 2:30, 4:26, and 6:45 come from?

  • @SirIlpalazzo I wondered that too, and unless they're actually music from the game, I think they're just a way to mesh all the pieces together fluidly. I think they integrated certain parts from different songs and used them to make transitions. But I could be wrong.
