hey dummies, trick bikes and transport bikes run different gearing. you wouldn't see a messenger riding DUI bars either. I haven't seen the movie but either the premise is that they each have more than one bike, or the bikes were swapped in for this scene by the filmmakers/trickriders for pragmatic reasons. suspend a lil disbelief.
