I don't think 90% of you even realize that this is a remake of a 1973 of the same title directed by George Romero, director of such classics as Night Of / Dawn Of / Day of the (Living) Dead.

The original was so much better.

The remake wasn't bad but the original was just unbeatable.

I'm not saying this out of spite, just a recommendation that more people check it out.

If there was one thing I learned from this movie, is that the army are really ineffective at clearing out buildings. They killed innocents alright, but farmhouses, gas stations and car washes all have their fair share of crazies

I also suggest Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon before the sequel comes out. Its part slasher part dark comedy, and completely brilliant if you enjoyed the nightmare, friday, halloween type movies.
