  • In the time of Jesus the North Star wasn't in the North Pole.

  • Showing my age here, but this vid starts with a joke I heard on Hee-Haw 30 odd years ago.

  • There is order proves one thing: there is order.

You obviously dont understand evidence. If something is complex, it implies there is a reason for the complexity. You ASSUME that reason is a god. That's not proof. There are many explanations for the reason behind complexity, many of which have nothing to do with a god. You can't just say "oh look, there are stars and they amaze me...therefore god". That's not how evidence works

  • @slamyou83 No, absolutely not.. There is no such scientific evidence that the universe was somehow magically designed by an invisible-man. However, there IS proof to the contrary because we do have actual tested observable data.

Scientific research & evidence is disproving the superstitious & outrageous dark-age claims of the Bible more & more by enormous bounds! While the Bible has Yet to prove ANYTHING!

Your comprehension of the word "proof" is grossly distorted by your wishful-thinking.

  • @slamyou83 LoL, and how is this possibly logical in any way!?

My emotions tell me that I should have a million dollars! But that does not make it a true fact that I'm a millionaire.

  • @slamyou83 Sorry, but no... That's simply just your illogical wishful-thinking & fantasy's.. Personal feelings do not constitute as any kind of basis of scientific proof or even evidence.

You could just as easily claim that the Tooth-Fairy is real, because your emotions want it be true.

  • You talked a whole lot, but failed to prove any evidence of a creator. Please re-think your position.

  • @202rickh I challenge you to compare and see how many of the services to third world countries come from Muslim, Christian, and Secular groups. You continue to speak of the flaws of Creation yet you show no reason for it. It is only oppinion. Not that I mind your opinion, I welcome it, but because of it does not prove the flaws you claim in other views.

  • @202rickh Sin affected more than man. You can call it superstition if you wish. That is your opinion and you are welcome to it.

  • @202rickh I don't think I ever denied thaere are things that are fllawed. it is the reason Christ raised the church. The world is flawed because m,an is flawed. it is because fo sin. that is why we need a savior. If the world is flawed, as you say, and man is flawed, then can we really depend on man's "reasoning?" The only other answer is We need a savior. That savoir is Jesus.

  • @202rickh Yea and isn't it terrible that he gve man the ability to study and find answers to these problems. and yes isn't interesting that the ones who build the hostpitals in third workls countries and schools, and other support are not the progressive people of "reason" but are these "terrible christians" that are "going to destroy the world. Can you really believe that?

  • @slamyou83 Did you drop out of school before the first grad or what?

The molecules of air CAN be seen and detected, we know air exists because of the evidence for it and it has been scientifically proven to exist. Unlike "god".

  • @ubersteigen No one is against science. This goes beyond. Yes science teaches us many things and ideas and such, what we are saying is this is by design by a creator.

  • Your evidence of creation sounds like common ignorance. But it's not your fault, you just obviously don't know much about the solar system, astrophysics, biology, so on and how they work.. Instead you seem to make a stretch that "a god must have made it that way". Because it's simple and you personally don't know any better.

  • @ubersteigen I think you make things so complicated when the evidence is right there. Neither do I fault you. Your eyes are just blinded to the truth. Open them and look at the evidence before you.

  • You have officially been mocked!

  • Sorry dude, the North Star will drift (precession). Just because things seem amazing to you doesn't mean that the answer is "God made it so!" That's a logical fallacy.

  • @tbrown92030 If it drifts then it would not always appear in the north. You can argue chance all you want, but if you were to have an open mind, I don't think you can help but see a creative hand in all of this. "The Heavens declare the glory of God" If one is willing to really see it.

  • @7archers The precessional drift is very slow... I suggest you check out the Wikipedia entry on the Pole Star...

It's not chance, it's rotational dynamics... physics. There are some pretty amazing things in the Universe. Not the least of them is the fact that we have minds capable of understanding most of them without having to resort to the supernatural.

  • It's not all by chance, it's proven by science you dolt. God damnit I can't stand ignorant morons like you.

Only a complete and utter fool would mock people for requesting evidence before believing something. You are a fool and it's pathetic that someone your age hasn't learned this important life lesson.

Speaking of PATTERNS that's what SCIENCE is about, and PATTERNS and SCIENCE will tell you why the North star is in the north and why the stars move.

  • @RetroGameKid Please listen to what you are saying and look at the video again.

YOu say it is not by chance. I am not arguing with you on that. Its by design. Once again its simple evidence.

You are like so many others, you say "Its science tht proves it," then you don't back it up. All you can do is call, those who you disagree with, names.

    That is really sad.

  • @7archers

No, what you're doing is drawing illogical conclusions with insufficient evidence. What you're doing is poisoning minds and spreading lies. It tends to piss people off when you damage society in such a way.

You know there was an age called the dark ages dominated by religion? This period took such steps backward, that for hundreds of years we looked to the PAST to recover scientific knowledge. How pathetic would it be to do that again?

  • @RetroGameKid I'm poisoning minds? Just by sharing my conclusions? You talk about the dark ages, it seems youare reliving it, not being able to hear other views without calling people moron and such. Where is your open mind?

  • Contrary to popular belief, an opinion isn't harmless. I have an open mind, that doesn't mean I let garbage into it. Logic and reason trump illogical conclusions any day.

If someone tells you 2+2=5 and you just have to have faith in that fact, is it worth debating? Is it really worth having an open mind and listening? No. You might attempt to correct the person, but ultimately it's a waste of your time. You can't teach logic and reason to blind believers. Religion teaches faith not reason.

  • @7archers

What do you want me to back up? Tell me exactly what you want backed up and I'll provide my sources of information.

  • @RetroGameKid Just back up your arguement. You said for example youhave evidence of why the north star always staysd in theNorth. Show me evidence of that.

I think you will find that much better than name calling.

  • @7archers

I will have to continue this in private messages, since links are not allowed in comments.

  • @slamyou83 So true. Thanks for sharing

  • Great message ! May Yeoshua continue to bless you so that others may see the truth!
