Lot of corrupt MP's and..........Iots of smelly bull shit that comes out of their fucking gobs. Promised us they would improve the NHS, THE SCHOOLS,JOBS,THE ELDERLY, Full of shit and its going to get even more worse. THOSE Wankers are laughing at us while we pay for their second homes and have pay rises while have to suffer cutbacks..Tossers

  • cameron looks like you will be a one term no power pm im voting lib dems im sure may will and if you carry on with cuts soon you will see the people take the country back

  • Cameron warns of 'pain' in cuts

why does someone like me - whos struggling hard enough have to suffer to get this country out of a mess i never got it into and have never / will never prospered from ?

  • Anyone thinking of voting for this idiot NEEDS to watch the documentry on channel 4s you tube channel - Dispatches: Cameron's Money Men

You have no excuses not to , this shows everything you need to know about him.

  • Watch this with David Scameron's personal touch "Camerons Change"

    VOTE FOR THOSE WHO CARE

    VOTE LABOUR

  • Stick interest rate up on mortgages, why should I pay more tax because some selfish person had a mortgage they couldn't afford!!

I doubt I'll get a reply from webcameronuk????

  • All I heard is the answer to tackling the economic crisis was giving more loans and debt.

HOw is that a long term solution. Serioulsy, isn't anyone concerned about the effects of spending money that doesn't exist to artificially keep businesses afloat.

we need people to have real money to spend to actually make businesses stay afloat, than simply give people and businesses loans.

This is not inovative thinking. All I see is vague rhetoric from both parties.

  • Behind all the financial mess there is starting to appear evidence that criminal activity has been responsible for much of what has happened.

  • You are everywhere... Marvelous!

  • So,David Cameron has called for "a day of reckoning for those involved in financial wrong doing"(BBC News 15 December).

    So what?

Try cleaning up the Conservative Party first Mr Cameron,it is in your power-but it seems that you haven't got the guts have you?-What too many "vested interests" do I here you say?

Do it and do it soon-then you may prove to us all that you ARE the right man to be the next Prime Minister.

    Some hope..!

  • The Govt is ignoring this mans advice and for that matter everyone else's very much at the Nations peril.

I hear Gordon is now talking about phase 2.. Ummh..

  • To tell you the truth, I think Gordon Brown steals David Cameron's ideas.

  • Labour are like the parent who spoils the kids and the Tories are the responsible parent.

All the kids love the parent who spoils them and see the responsible parent as mean even though in the long run it's the responsible parent who's the better parent.

  • the tories are also the 'responsible' parents who have been taking rather large amounts of money from other 'vested' interests, isn't that right mr cameron?

  • Nice analysis if a little patronising

  • Germany has lambasted Gordon Browns response to the economic crisis as crass and depressing in an astonishing attack as EU leaders prepare to debate how to recover from the recession in Brussels today.

Peer Steinbruck, the social democrat German finance minister, warned that it would take Britain a generation to pay for the huge financial stimulus introduced by the government in its attempt to kick-start the economy.

  • long live thatcher long live conservatsm! :)

  • Would anyone like to comment as to why the Conservative Party is only 4 points ahead of this dreadful government in the polls?-(Source the Times newspaper London,9 December).

Going by the rantings of the Conservative owned press, this is a Government on it's knees.

    So,any comment please?

  • The current government has made many people dependant on the state thrugh benefits and public sector employment?

Smoke and mirrors this money is going have to be paid back some day.

  • what about the fractional reserve banking system which allows banks to lend ten times customer deposits?? In other words they create money out of thin air and then have the nerve to charge interest on, whereas it costs them next to nothing to finance it.

you cannot blame the current goverment for a small minority being dependent on benefits. don't forget history smoothcrunchie, margaret thatcher destroyed alot of jobs (mining, coal) for globalization. this gov't has had to clear up this mess.

  • People still have faith in Gordon 'Superman' Brown, he's getting away with it, a lot of people are easily fooled I guess.

  • Fincher85-Yes agreed, but who is doing the fooling?Could it just be that people are starting to look thru' the promises that our party leaders are making OR is it just that they have heard it all before from Mr Cameron? And not much at that!

Promises,promises-no actual REAL policies from the party leader. His "promises" to clean up the party hasn't happened has it?Not really meaning to get personal but his record as a PR man wasn't that good--so they say!

  • I don't care about PR to be honest, I ignore it and just look at the fundamentals of the parties. I'm a conservative and that has nothing to do with Cameron. Labour have a history of mishandling this country's finances and they've done it again.

  • Yes and then the Tory's are left with a big mess in their lap and everyone ends up blaming them for it.

  • Fincher85-And what have the Conservatives ever done for this country?-I think your comment says it all really-in true style it is all about one thing isn't it?-Money.

The Conservative Party stands for one thing these days.-The making of Money.

We are still paying the price of Conservative Governments of old aren't we?

So what is next?-We do'nt know-because no-one at Conservative Party HQ will tell us.Nothing from the party leaders except hot gas.Scary isn't it?

  • No, we're paying the price of a decade of failed Labour government.

The Conservative government left this country economically sound and Labour have bled the country dry, AGAIN.

If the Conservatives are all about making money then Labour are all about spending it.

Also would you care to explain why under this Labour government violent crime is worse than it's ever been and why poverty is worse than it was under the previous Conservative government? 10 years of Labour has made it worse!

  • Also that is just the Populus poll, the latest CML poll results released on November 26 had the Conservatives 15 points ahead and the latest IPSOS poll had them 11 points ahead on the same date.

All of the companies should be releasing pre-Christmas poll results soon so I guess we'll see then.

  • Mr Cameron, you are completely wrong in saying that business's are at the heart of the credit crunch. The people who are working for these businesses are at the heart of the credit crunch.

  • Can someone please explane this, back in 1992 with the 15%, Black Wednesday etc this was caused by an American speculating against the pound yet the Tories got blamed for it and Gordon Mugabe Brown has reminded us of 92 since 97, so why has he shifted blame of the current financial climate away from him?.

Please tell me how he has slithered his way out of it!.

  • So much of me just wants to fight and argue and call this guy an empty shell, but I am so proud he has allowed comments, that I think I will respect his trust in the public to comment freely. Well done Cameron, you've just moved up a place in my books. Puts you ahead of both the BNP and UKIP now, well done. Long way till Labour, Lib dems and greens etc....

  • Public - "We've all lost our jobs and houses. We can't get a loan or a mortgage."

    **Along comes Super Gordon**

GB - "Fear not, Gordon fans. I'll save you!"

Public - "2.5% off VAT!!!! WOW! We all feel stimulated to spend a lot of money on shit we don't need and can't afford. Thanks Gordon!! We all love you, and we want you to continue to save the world, don't worry about an election - we don't want one."

GB - "No problem peasant. Super Gordon Away!"

  • Be careful what you say about our Labour government, you might get arrested if they don't like what you're saying!

  • We've got ID cards and camera's on every street to come yet!

  • In addition David:Isn't it likely that even if a gov't guarantee is provided for "new" lending that any "new" loans issued will be under far stricter credit criteria which many consumers will fail to meet? In other words, banks may stand ready with new products but no "suitable" customers and lending will continue its frozan state. Isn't what is really needed here an agressive ground up stimulus program that subsidizes new job creation (in the vein of your other proposal)? What choice is left?

  • He's already put forward proposal for new job creation by supporting employers who hire those who have been out of work for 3 months+.

As for the banks, it's awkward, the bank's just want to serve the themselves even though they've taken the tax payer's money to stay in business. I would suggest a temporary nationalisation but then you just look at the state of Northern Rock; the bank's the government own are the worst offenders.

Labour need to sort the banks out, not just say "please lend".

  • Here's my question David:Why would providing gov't guarantees for "new" lending spur banks to make "new" loans when the "existing" loans are still at risk because of the high default rate? Banks don't want to lend now because they are expecting those defaults and your solution fails to address that risk. Your program increases the likelihood of repayment but banks can do that for themselves by raising their credit criteria right? In a downward economy, banks are likely to sit pat no matter what.

  • So-Conservative MP Damian Green is arrested-lol

Could have and should have been done weeks ago!

The Conservative Party-it's time for a change alright......

  • Arrested for exposing Labour's secrets plans for tax increases, Labour are turning thus country into a dictatorship.

  • damn right

  • God, I do love David Cameron. He's well funny. Seriously! luurve that bloke. He's quite entertaining really..if he had a sense of humour he'd make a gr8 stand up cooom median. That's it!

  • there's a 'crunch...a squeeze' Oh really kgIII, I hadn't noticed! you've got another fake Xmas window behind you at the start of your vid Dave! And what are you talking about...exactly. D'ya think we're all daft or sumthin? Do we need you to tell us this. Thank you 4 listening....and now for somethin completely different...hahaha

  • Well you spell 'something' as 'sumthin' so yes, daft you are.

  • don't ask for after 8 mints at one of daves dinners! you'll be sneered at for suggsting something bought from a lowerclass shop being used on an upperclass table.its offensive!

  • Hating people because they're educated and successful is ridiculous, you should admire him.

  • Yeah, prejudice never shows much reason.

  • ohhh those lowerclasses are evil.poor cherub upper classes.

  • basically,

    VOTE CONSERVATIVE

    keep britain working

    it's time for change

  • The Sooner the Tory's call for an election & THROW Brown out of the PMship & install Cameron as PM GB will be a lot better off.

  • Cameron For PM!!!!!!

  • AMEN!

  • If this country has any sense that will happen.

  • but if the government garenties the loan what incentive do the banks have to asses risk?

  • Anyone else this this guy can do it?

  • Labour were warned time and time again and chose to ignore those warnings, their negligence has to take a big part of the blame for this country's current predicament.

  • I suppose that makes me look uninformed and all that, but I am 14.

So if we had had a Conservative government from 1997, the recession wouldn't have happened? I think it was pretty inevitable, what with the US borrowing and lending and all that jazz.

And can I ask for people not to 'thumbs down' my comment just because I defended Labour a tiny bit? I'm right wing, and I suppose if I could I would vote Conservative. It's just a tad childish. And so are the personal snipes against Labour MPs.

  • Simply blaming the US is irresponsible, the American economy doesn't dictate the British economy, we do.

Most of Britain must take the blame for this current economical climate, a lot of people spent beyond their means, banks lent to people who were clearly unable to pay them back and the government just sat back and blindly let it all happen. Gordon Brown is supposedly a financial genius, so how did he not see it coming? Not to mention that Labour were warned numerous times.

  • But you have to stimulate the consumption! Who's going to build new factories when existing ones are being closed?? It just doesn't work.

The only thing that's working is a massive stimulus package. More money to the people (tax cuts) and infrastructure projects, etc

It looks like conservatives are wrong on the economy, everywhere...

  • callmewilson, you're absolutely right, people are quick to forget that even with the problems at the end of the last Conservative government, this country actually had a huge surplus,

Labour inherited a pretty healthy economy, and they still screwed it up,

we now have at least a million extra people in civil service jobs supported by the tax payer, while slowly destroying real wealth creating entrepeneurial jobs, but that's socialism for you, it's all about state growth and not wealth growth

  • "slowly destroying real wealth creating entrepeneurial jobs, but that's socialism for you, it's all about state growth and not wealth growth"

This. if you replace slowly with rapidly.

  • 'wealth growth' and 'entrepreneurial jobs' have been a big factor on creating this crunch. we've had rampant inflation for the last 10 years (despite the government denying this, 'every things fine! spend!'). of course 'wealth growth' is essentially 'personal greed' which in turn is 'debt growth' for those who haven' been so fortunate.

until you and your rich buddies figure this out, we're in for a long struggle.

  • The more I read your comment the less I understand it.

You seemed to have missed out "wealth creating" bit from 'entrepreneurial jobs'

We should see what the goverment should of been doing for last 10 years SPEND LESS help get people off benefits and help british industry.

  • its the same thing. The problem with money creation is that it is really debt creation and there is always more debt in the system than assets and that debt is continually growing exponentially. This means that inflation of the currency is an inescapable feature of this type of capitalism. The Bank of England attempts a balancing act by raising and lowering interest rates in an effort to keep the money supply in line with the growth of real assets, but they are doomed to failure because

  • more debt is created to fuel economic growth, but economic growth will always lag debt creation. Thus any currency is constantly being inflated, which causes an overall increase in prices.

Since this differential continually widens any currency is doomed to extinction sooner or later. The Central Banks can only speed up or slow down this process.

  • In essence your criticizing fiat currency? What in favour of... gold standard? There are reason why no government today uses it.

We are not criticizing the game here just blaming those who are meant to be running it and have possibly left Britain in a worse position than any other country in the world (relative to our living standards of last 10 years)

  • Government mandated fiat currency simply does not work in the long run. we need our money backed up by gold. Tony Blair had the chance to address these problems when he came to power, but he just paved over the problem promising affordable loans for all and continuous growth, as did thatcher, of course this is all just complete tosh. I don't think this is a time for any politicians (namely Brown and Cameron) to be playing games to score votes which is exactly what this video is.
