No, I was training onboard a container ship the MV 'Contship Indigo'. The vessel has since been renaimed. But I sailed on here enroute to Nhava Sheva (Mumbai container port) in India from Tilbury in the UK.
Good film. Reminds me of when I sailed through Suez some years ago. By the way, the vessel you noted as being a 'Container ship', the 'Sapphire Highway' is actually a car carrier (PCC).
The trip was just over a month, but we called in on the ports of Hamburg, Antwerp, then down through Biscay, through the Gibraltar straights calling in at Cagliari in Sardinia, Port Said, Eygpt. Transited Suez, through the Red Sea and to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Next stop was Khorr Fakkan in the UAE, then Port Bin Qasim in Pakistan, Nhava Sheva (Mumbai) in India, Mundra, also in India before returning back to Tilbury.

That's cool!
How long did the journey take from Tilbury to India?
You certainly know your stuff!

Thanks for the information!
Was your sail down the Suez by Nile Cruiser?
It's amazing that such a small canal can be one of the world's busiest shipping lanes.
Thanks for your comment.
