  • AWESOME!...

  • I want to marry a girl that thinks LMA is there fav NO song. 'Nuf said.

  • Love to hear the guitars crying over each other. It just doesn't get much better than that. New Order is simply amazing. Fantastic clip and thanks for sharing this. Makes up for some of the crap I have to deal with these days.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! LMA - a masterpiece.

  • just like the way it was before : 80]s! long live the wave..

  • If anybody doesn't like then.....

  • *sigh*

    perfection...

  • Hallo liebe New-Order"ists!Ja.......es ist wohl die "Einfachheit"die direkt in das Herz eines puristischen Musik-Liebhabers hineinstößt!!!!!!Ich spreche wohl für viele Deutsche Fans........denn:Seltsam sind doch ihre Deutschland-Konzerte immer ein großes Highlight....für beide Parteien....gewesen...!!!!Oder???

    Wir werden sie immer lieben.....!!

    Große Lieben sterben nie..........!!!!!!

  • @MrMondrian1 Ziemlich.

  • Sometimes I really do hate NO for forcing introspection. Stripped emotionally...closest thing one can experience on this earth to standing bare before the supreme being on judgement day.

  • I was at work earlier. and put "the national" station on pandora......then this song came on. Went to wikipedia. Realized this was written right around when I was born. Beautiful.

  • I was a student in Cork in April 1983 and I can't believe I didn't go to see this.

  • This song is perfect. One of the best songs EVER written. At one point in my live I would have died for this sont.

  • "from my head to my toes , from my eyes to my BALLS" this is wicked .

  • One of my favourite New Order songs ♥

  • why this and that,,,it is punk girls and boys

  • "Power Corruption And Lies" was one of those albums that shaped my musical perspective during my teen years. Still listen to that CD until this day. Legends.

  • Agree with previous posts, this is as near to perfect as you can get in a song. I think my record is near 200 consecutive plays. Simply Beautiful...And I'm a 40 year old dude who saw them in 84...man I'm old

  • Felt it in my toes at Vredenburg

  • Hard to believe this was 26 years ago. Still sounds better than 99% of the crap on the radio.

  • @ebw343

  • Bernard changes the lyrics a bit on this live version notably in the beginning. Head to my ballz or something. haha My favorite song from them and the standout track from PCL.

  • i just came.

  • Whenever I hear the guitar I think of the cure. Great song.

  • Finally, I find a live version! "Leave Me Alone" and "Doubts Even Here" are the two saddest songs I've ever heard. Gillian's best. A great live band because they MEAN IT....(and are so good they get away with it).

  • hellz yeah!

the BEST New Order song for me..

    period!

  • This and Love Vigilanties are New Order's finest tracks in my opinion, wait a min there's Your Silent Face,The Perfect Kiss,True Faith,Thieves Like Us ....................

  • .......Loveless, Ceremony .Dreams never end, Age of consent , Run wild ....

  • Epic, thanks for sharing this!

  • Love, love this song so much. Thanks for posting it!!

  • Such an under-rated New Order song. I've seen them twice in concert, but they didn't play it either time. Bummer.

  • THE New Order song, timeless

  • i was at this gig!! still sounds wicked!

thanks for posting this gem.......ah...the good ol' days!!!

  • GREAT SONG! GREAT BAND! GREAT CAREER!

  • Wheres Cork "boi" .. went to this concert .. old savoy cinema if i remember correctly. Ahh, thanks for the memories ..

  • This is 1 of my favorite NO songs, the bass and guitar, wow, amazing. Goes straight into my soul like a charm, love it!!!

  • my favorite new order song, love this live version

  • omg better live

  • Every morning when I walk to the car with my two girls ( 4 1/2 & 2 1/2) they say 'New Order' than we play only New Order song just like that one and they love it. So good tast in music has nothing to do with age. You got it or you don't . New Order fans DO got it. Thanks for posting! Dia

  • By the weay, in stead of 'balls', might he not be singing 'palms'?

  • Maybe, but considering that it's Barney, I wouldn't be surprised if he was singing 'balls'. :p

  • BONES

  • This video has a ridiculously low number of views... this song is perfect.

  • You said it! It's one of the best New Order tracks I know!

  • Terrific performance! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

  • me tire les larmes nostalgie

  • love love love love this song!!!!!! :)

  • mille grazie per questo video :-)

  • Thanks you for the lyrics !

    There is very long time!

    I sing this song!!

  • "...as for these last few days, leave me alone..."

I always thought this song was written for Ian Curtis about his "last few days"

  • Who knows!?

  • Why is it ALWAYS about Ian?

    People die...

  • Music to my ears!

  • it's my favorite new order song

  • My favourites are this, lonesome tonight, your silent face and prosession...

Those people who've only heard blue monday don't know what they're on about or what they're missing.

  • You forgot Ceremony, my absolute favourite ;-)!

  • Muito bom!

  • Very nice, love it.

Thanks so much for posting it.

  • One of my all-time favorite songs -- just beautiful.

  • Our alt/indie station in Australia did an in-depth profile of New Order and this song was NOT played. For me it is the best song by far on Power Corruption and Lies. Hooksey's bass just carries Bernard's riff. Amazing...

  • Did you ever notice Morris' drumming -- I'm not a drummer, but in the recorded version, he starts with one "tap" per beat, but as the song progresses, he does two and three taps per beat. I love the way that builds up during the song. He didn't do that in the live version in this video.

  • I was wondering what you meant, but yes, the syncopation at the end. It is very nice.

  • Songs like this amaze me... how 4 ordinary people can make such music...

  • Ian Curtis r.i.p

  • Wow.....stunning....absolutely beautifully gorgeous.....

  • orgasm in my ears

  • oooooh yes!!...this hits the spot ;-)

  • BEEEAST

  • I grew up in the 80s and apart from The Smiths, New Order, The Mondays, the Roses, the Inspirals, Acid House and proper Es, it was a load of old pony. Hang on a minute, that makes it sound pretty good....

  • Cure, Depeche Mode, early R.E.M., too. Peter Gabriel did some great work then. Some amazing, amazing stuff out of the decade.

  • I missed the 80's!

  • Maravilhosa essa música!!!!

  • I love New Order and I love Joy Division!!!!

  • When I die, I am going to see all the New Order concerts and I am going to smoke cigarettes and drink!

  • @LastPlayboy

Sad, maybe it's that all of us New Order fans are turning middle-aged, but I was thinking earlier today that my heaven would include New Order songs.

BTW: I really like the layered guitars in the last third of this song...

  • @PhillyPhoton Don't feel too bad, i'm 18 and i'll be in the same boat
