Man I had this game but sold it, now I kinda regret it...

How do I activate Julius mode? I've finished the game, but I can't see the option anywhere.

@xMrShinobi Get to the part where the priest tries to trick Soma with a fake version of his girlfriend. Don't equip the charm that protects Soma from the treachery, and walk into the room. You get the evil ending and Julius Mode.

@SilimsLetsPlays I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. I've beaten the boss that bring me to the credits. Is that the right boss or not? I haven't been wearing the amulet the whole game, so yeah.

@xMrShinobi There are 3 endings to the game. One is the ending you get when beating Dario Bossi the second time without using Paranoia (a soul) to get into the mirror to kill the demon. One is the one I described. The third one is only obtained by wearing the charm at the exact part I referenced earlier.

Thanks to you, I just beat him right now. It took me at less than a week to find out the stuff that you are able to do. That double backdash thing really helped and saved my ass at the last minute. Thanks for the vid again!

@6dhampyr6castle6 I should really play Lament of Innocence. I sort of regret reading the wiki on Mathias, but I don't own a PS2 nor the game, so it may be a while before I play the game. In fact, I'm certain I never would have played the game anyway if I had not read the wiki.

Regardless, I figured it was Dracula before he became the evil count.

Nice video! Just one question... When you play as Alucard, how do you do that teleportation attack move (When in Soma's 1st form, when he summons a giant axe, you teleport behind him and attack). And if you know, can you use that too in Symphony of the Night? Many thanx!

How do I get into the abyss in Julius mode? because I have been everywhere else faced all the bosses but how do I get through the dark barrier?

If I remember correctly: Beat all Bosses. Did you forget Paranoia, the boss hiding in the mirrors?

But I don't think you have to defeat this fire beast, you have to fight instead of Dario. But I'm not sure.

Once every single Boss is defeated you can enter the abyss. Better you try to check all other Boss rooms. Or explore the castle a little bit more.

I've always wondered what Soma was drinking. In previous games I assumed Dracula was drinking blood, being a vampire and all, but Soma isn't a vampire. And as i recall, he's only 18. DON'T ENCOURAGE UNDER AGE DRINKING.

@5598713 Well, one, by now, he's 19. And two, since he obviously had the bad ending, Soma became Dracula... becoming a vampire at the same time. So odds are he wasn't getting hammered. =P

So I'd assume that he started to take on Dracula's characteristics. How else would he recognise Arikado as Alucard (he says A-RU-ka-do)? He's probably got Dracula's memories inside him, and as such Dracula's habits. Including the blood-drinking.

Oh, and the drinking age in Japan is 20. >_>

i unlocked Julius mode by acident i dident know to equip Mina's talismen the first time so Soma became the Dark lord (AKA Dracula AKA Vlad Types) hes cooler as the dark lord to if only he wasent trying to destroy Earth...

@blackacemaster It's one of the bad endings. If you don't equip the item mina gave you, when you get to Celia, Soma releases his dark powers and becomes the reincarantion of Dracula.

I was dissapointed in how easy the fight was. Simple attacks work for older games with worse movement.. but c'mon. Somacula is better than that =(
