  • "Kyoufu wo oshiete yaru!" Fear The wrath of God IN PORTUGUESE -> SENTE A IRA DE DEUS

  • translation-fear the wrath of god

  • I'll tell the horror*

  • google trunslate says its mean "i'll say the horror" WTF?!

  • He sounds like orochimaru .___. really, he does

  • devil jin rocks

  • Great *O*!!!! I love Devil Jin *¬* he's the best!!!! I love his voice, laugh, face, body, everything about him >////<

Devil Jin fuck me!! xD although you're owned from Hwoarang :A.

  • that sound soo sexy!! *0*

  • BTW people just for funzies "Kami no ikari o osoreru" = "Fear the wrath of god"

  • Anyone who wants to hear another japanes character say this:

    /watch?v=aMIAJp-X_UI

He says the exact same thing and its the same thing as SonKitty's translation

  • Fear the wrath of god?

  • step 1: buy a headset

step 2: select any girl like christie, nina or anna

step 3: tell them you think they got fat since last fight

    *plays video*

  • when devil jin says it he says kyoro shiete yarou but if jin says it, it's Kyofo shiete yarou

  • Jin is the personification of the wrath of god as far as I understand the translation

  • Everytime I hear this I feel like getting hit by a thunder bolt.It sound so damn evil!

I understand the translation as the following:

He is the Pesonification of the wrath of god since he is the son of the Devil

    (Devil Kazuya)

  • I once heard someone say that God is referred to as a "higher power" by both humans and demons even though they don't like to acknowledge him.

So it probably makes sense that Devil Jin would say "Fear The Wrath of God".

  • sonkitty:if the the tanslation is "ill teach you the true meaning of fear" why did they use "fear the wrath of god" does it have something to do with the syllables?

  • @jeffreycoley, I doubt it, but I don't know their reasoning. I know at least a couple of people think the "fear the wrath of God" translation sounds cooler.

  • @SonKitty hm...it does sound cooler but then why not use the literal translation for "fear the wrath of god"?

  • @jeffreycoley, well, that's not the literal translation, but that's the one they use, so I don't understand your question.

  • @SonKitty oh what i meant was, why not use the japanese phrase for "fear the wrath of god" rather than using the japanese phrase for "ill show you the true meaning of fear"?

  • @SonKitty Not that it matters 2 months later but I think he means why wasn't the original japanese quote "fear the wrath of God"

  • @AceRatz Yes, you'll see that he said exactly that right above you.

  • @jeffreycoley If you watch Naruto, the Raikage said this exact same line and it was translated as "Ill show you the meaning of true fear". So Im betting the US version only made it wrath of god to make it sound cooler.

  • KYOUFU WO OSHIETE YAROU!!!!!

  • What is the background music?

  • Kyoufu Wo Oshiete Yarou - I'll Teach you The True Meaning Of Fear (EXACT MEANING)

  • FEAR THE WRATH OF DEVIL JIN!!!!!

  • if he's the Devil, i wouldn't think he would say "fear the wrath of God..."

  • ...thats because God always pwns Devils...

    ...i'd be feared too

  • how he say s in japanese

  • fear the wath of god *kio ho set yarou*

  • hmmm no i searcher for it and its "Kyoofu" i was pretty sure the other word was citearo but i cant find what wrath or god means anywhere

  • to be honest i don't i ether know its just dumb translation so whats the point?

  • its in japanese letters, what was you thinking?

  • I thought he say "Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou", which means :"Fear the wrath of god", i was told

  • actually its something like feel the wrath of the god or something like tht

  • the translation's wrong... I think he says "I'll show you fear..."

  • the real translation is actually

"you'll know the meaning of true fear"

or sumthing similar to that. ^^

  • Kyoufu wo oshiete yarou

  • do any one know what devil jin is saying?

    (sry for my bad english)

  • fear the wrath of god.

  • You're wrong, "Fear the wrath of god" is a horrible translation which is rather baseless. There's no "Wrath" nor "God" in the sentence he states.

  • This, i know.

but namco is trying to set it as fear the wrath of god. or else it would be the correct translation. wich is i will teach you the true meaning of fear.

  • @nerizor

exactly if he were to say god he would say kami(japanese for god)

  • you it would be funny if you made one were you gave ling xiaoyu voice to king or marduk

  • Devil Jin so cool,me like use!!!who wan play with me???hehe......

  • the literal translation of what xarchanx said is "Let me show you fear..."

  • Hmm, not quite, but closer than the game's.

The literal translation is "I will teach you the meaning of fear!" Take out "the meaning of" if you want to be very literal.

"Oshiete" is a conjugated form of a verb meaning "to teach."

  • I din't know that.. Thanks for the info..I'll keep that in mind!(The verb bit!).

  • @moltensnake actually its fear the wrath of god.

  • @shadow3746 He says oshiete yarou...that means "I'll show/teach you"....Hence my translation ;)

  • no no guys he is saying "Fear The Wrath of God"

  • You are very wrong. There is no word meaning neither wrath nor God in what Jin says.

Conclusion: The guys who translated it are morons.

  • I concur, They most likely are stupid... However both translations ( Literal, and Moronic English version ) Are Infact Bad Ass.

  • no hes says feel the wrath of god

  • no actually they mistranslated what he realy says is ill teach you the meaning of fear

  • i do not understan JAPANESE BUT nope its fear the wrath of god

  • I know hes saying The wrath of god

  • could someone spell what he says?

    kuhushiti haru?

  • kyoufu wo oshiete yarou

    correct me if i'm wrong

  • Actually, I found out from someone that the last word is supposed to be "yaru" instead of "yarou." "Yarou" is a widespread typo.

  • @xarchanx woof woof d^.^b

  • @xarchanx it's correct.

  • @xarchanx

idk sounded more like jokhro city yaro

  • I wonder why Devil Jin only has one intro pose...

  • @JavaEFA He has more than only 1 intro pose.

  • @JavaEFA TTT2 he has two.
