  • This reminds me of X Japan a lot. From the back track to the solo. This was awesome!!!!

  • great playing a i have the same squier strat you have in the background they have an awesome sound and tone to them getting a schecter c-1 standard dark brown sunburst with this pedal and the boss me 70 but great playing

  • can i connect it to my ibanez tbx65?

  • With those stereo outs on the side.. can i run this thing through my stereo amp? It appears that you can..

  • is that a squier or fender

  • outstanding...just sent the ebay link to my wife to get me one of these puppies. Great improv buddy!!! You prove the axiom: tone is in the heart and head, not in the fancy gear. Rock on.

  • @ed4564 Thanks man! i'm sure you will have lot of fun with the JS-8.. the hardest thing is putting the guitar down and stop playing! :-)

  • sounds great.. Love my e-band!! :)

  • Do you think I could get a good Marshall sound? I love to jam with old AC/DC stuff...

  • Why do you have two identical guitars?

  • @race1717 :-) LOL.... you mean my two strato's.. we'll they are quite different beasts... the 2008 white is more of a modern sounding fender, with the new alnico pickups .. the other is a 70s look strato of the last '90 it has a different , more vintage sound to me...

  • @YetAnotherBeginner Y'know.... I could've played better... Right now I have a black strat with some repairs needed. I wish I had that blue Yamaha. It had all the features I was looking for AND it's not that expensive. The two humbuckers... the Floyd Rose locking nut AND tremolo unit... 24 jumbo frets... IT'S JUST TOO PERFECT!

  • @YetAnotherBeginner If you're looking forward to play country, classical, and that kind of stuff then stick with the Strats. For punk and thrash metal, you might want to think otherwise.

My favorite is a Schecter Damien Elite FR. It features two EMG humbuckers, decent body paint job, Floyd Rose tremolo with locking nut, and 24 jumbo frets. These altogether make the guitar REALLY outstanding.

  • That, of course, is a guitar that goes GREAT for thrash metal style of playing. It also goes well with the dreaded Death Metal distortion pedal from Digitech.

  • Love the harmonics at about :40 sec's...... hell, I liked the whole composition! LOL...

the JS8 is a killer toy!!! I doubt I will ever regret buying one!

    5*s!!

  • @albooher1 Thanks so much for this detailed feedback! Yes, JS-8 is "dangerous" can keep you looping forever, man!... checked out your channel, great keep going!

  • @albooher1 . I am considering getting a Boss JS8. Is it as good as it seems? My one real question is about the sound of the speakers.I get the impression they may not be so good. Can you play this through powered monitors as I have a pair of M-Audio's. Nice playing by the way

  • @debdar39 Not sure you were actually asking me, but as far as the speakers, they are very decent for sitting in front of it in your room or something. They will not put on a concert....lol You can in fact play through powered monitors or external speakers. It has RCA output jacks, and I have even used the headphone jack as an output source to monitor speaker and used it to my video camera on a couple of my vids.

    Hope that helps!

  • Are you actually playing through the JS-8?

  • @PATRICKJMT1Yes all the sounds are generated by JS-8 internal effects processor. It has a fx / amp simulation section derived from GT-10. I also have GT-10 and i can tell you it's really really quite like the GT.

  • GREAT now i can call my self yout fan

  • @SrbinGitarista Thank U! as my first fan, i'll always keep you a special seat on the front row :-) thanks man bye!
