I never really understand how you automatically fight the eye of Sauron on top of his tower. It just seemed really random.  Maybe if the last level was climbing Barad-dur to the top and then fight Sauron would make better sense.

They should've had the characters down there fighting with everyone else at the Blackgate. Add a few Nazgul as bosses, maybe even the Mouth of Sauron, and keep fighting until a certain time limit. That would've made it better and not be lore-breaking! Fighting the Eye in this is more lore-breaking than when Peter Jackson used the Army of the Dead to end the siege of Minas Tirith in the Return of the King.

Storywise and moviewise this fight with sauron isn't logical. Because he can only die when the ring is destroyed and if you say that the ring was destroyed just when they got his health to zero then that means they die too.

Remember that the Eye of Sauron was destroyed after Gollum lost his balance along with the ring and fell into mount Doom.

If you were to fight the actual Sauron, then it wouldn really follow the movie, let alone the book.

I don' t think that Berethor, Idrial, Elegost, Hadhod, Morwen and Eaoden dies at the end.... Sauron dies when the ring is destroyed... Not when Berethor and the others fight him... Fighting Sauron is like you fight in the Black Gate...They made it like this just for us to understand how hard was to fight all those orcs in the black gate... I mean that this is not a real fight...

Anyway nice game... And you sould have Elegost in to use True Shot.... He damages the dark lord about 50.000 HP

Yeah it was okay I guess, but the battle was kinda simple and the ending should have had the group shown. PLus it just made no sense. Instead of going to the Black Gate suddenly you're teleported all the way to the top of Barad-Dur. I mean it's cool to fight Sauron, but it just seems like when Aragorn says go to the Black Gate, you should be there instead of Barad Dur.

This entire game's battle system is too reminiscent of Final Fantasy X. Not only is the battle system similar, but the skills too (Berethor's first skill is the exact same skill as Tidus's: it increases the party's physical damage)

The map on the top right corner of the screen also looks alot like the one used in FFX.

The rest of the game is pretty much original though, and that's a good thing. The only gripe is the similiarities to Final Fantasy X, and their failure to acknowledge it.

Man the movies completely changed how Sauron was viewed...in the books he isn't an eye. He regained his form, and was in the tower...that why when Aragorn said "Let the lord of the black lands come forth, so justice may be done upon him." nah, word of god (meaning tolkein said it) says Sauron had a physical form at the top of Barud Dur, but it was weak as hell without the ring.

The Eye you see in the movies didn't exist in the books, it was a metaphor

But yeah, it would be ridiculous for Aragorn to ask an eye to come forth... it's like he's insulting a disabled soldier with no legs to walk.

But the eye did exist in the book, actually. There was even a description of it. Just that it wasn't mentioned much. I don't think Tolkien would mind, if he intended to make Sauron's form vague and mysterious.
