I'm surprised you didn't even use any of the chandeliers. you can drop them on their heads and when you set them as traps they stay knocked down for 30 seconds.

@TranceCowboy There are things I didn't know you could do in the game at the time I made this video. For instance, I don't hide behind objects and now I know how to. I wish I knew at the time though, because it was hard.

@mhvr85 if you push down and b you can drop the chandeleer, and if you time it right you can get a free hit on them. You can only ose them once, but they last for 30 secconds. It it falls on them it doesn't count as using the trap, but still keeps em' down for 30 secconds! =D

Was looking grim at the beginning there being without a trap and close to the enemies, fortunately they didnt pursue you to the basement!

@TonLars Yes it can get really stressful actually and most of the time in that situation, I end up getting caught. That was a lucky one.

Such a hard game lol. Amazing how these old NES games were so hard... don't get how they kept the interest of kids for very long!

It was a different era and if you were a kid and your parents just bought you this game for 50$+, you had better play it until you beat it. I think the fact that they were hard was the reason why we had to play them for so long. Some of them were really all-time classic though, but not this one.

gauntlet 2 is way better it goes endlessly reminds me of diablo wich i got with my pentium 1 man love the old days wit multiplayers

Basically. It's a 20 minutes game, you just have to survive that long.

Do you know you can hide in this game?

No, that I didn't know, but I just watched a video where someone did it. Apparently, once the bad guys enter twice in a room where you hid, you can't use that spot anymore. That migh've been useful to some extent...

Yes, you can hide Kevin in the game. Simply hold the Up button on the D pad while in front of certain furniture, sofas, dressers, or the Christmas tree.
