@HateIronMaiden The background is most likely pre-recorded live, while the vocals may be live (a common way when they taped the Shindig episodes), but it's still better than nothing.

@SixtiesPopGold WHAT? I think it sounds like this is REAL live! Not a kind of "hybrid performance", like a few others here. But maybe you're right.
