Ok I gave in, during my break (at Michaels) I went and bought some paint and a journal. I started right away when I got home, so far I only am halfway through making a cover (still not very speedy), and I love the whole painting thing!!!!

Since my desk is always loaded down with scraps and photos from past journaling entries working "at hand" is something I do often.
And YAY for the Moleskine sketchbook! It's what I'm using right now for my art journal!
