I think there is no hope for a game that comes out on the consoles as well as the PC to actually be a classic when you're talking about an FPS, unless it's an arcade FPS such as Forsaken or Descent. The whole idea was to make the player feel they had total freedom. This cannot be achieved on a console. Period.

the game is extremely overrated. I beat it. Its not terrible, but its not as godly as they said it would be.

And, the Ai is god awfull, some days when your playing with them they're compltely unreliable. If you get incapped

sometimes they just stare at you. If you tell them to go do something, they just wonder away.get it done. and wonder farther away

sometimes they have the ID that its okay to stop walking, and never follow you again. etc :P

other than a few bugs...you know what really got me about this game? Its IMPOSSIBLE to hit targets 200-300 meters away looking throught IRON sights. you get what you are equipped with at the beginning of each mission. Soldiers don't just go picking up weapon off of enemies except sometimes behind enemy lines. Official Xbox Magazine had an article a few months ago about realism in video games and special ops "guys" that they interviewed said that thats the only time a soldier would do that. This game is supposed to be more of a sim and not like COD which is also a good game. I like the first MW game better though.

If you are a PC gamer, then I would recommend Flashpoint 2 (assuming that you're into it) and especially for multiplayer capabilities, because they are ditching the dedicated server option for PC COD4:2. :( But I havent played Op F 2 yet so can't judge. But I reckon it'd be OK. ARMA 2 is also well worth a look, seeing as its made by the guys that created Op F 1. (Main blokes from Bohemia Interactive)

Arma 2 and Op F 2 are very similar. The only real difference is that in Arma 2 you can take any mission on in any way u want to, but from what i've played in Op f 2 the missions are slightly more structured with proper objective markers which Arma 2 does not have. Also i find the graphics the UI in Op F 2 to be far far better than Arma 2
