How to make beats on the Motif XS part 2

Great Video!.....but i was wondering if you can help me out....i followed your steps...but say im in pattern/song mode and track 1 is a piano,track 2 is a snare,track 3 is a kick..etc...say i add a effect such as Delay just on track 2(snare)...And when i go to track 1(piano) and add a Flanger effect then all of a sudden track 2(snare) has a Flanger effect when i had a Delay on it?.....i want to be able to put different effects in each track.....any help would be appreciated.........Thanks

@circaadams77 It not tha track 2 doesn't have the delay it most likely has both effects on it. What you're probably doing is called a side chain. What you need to do is an insert for that track or turn down the aux knob for the effect you don't want.
