Time doesn't pass in the nether when your in the overworld, however time passes in the overworld when your in the nether. It's kinda annoying when your trying to grow the netherwart.

Ghasts can't see through glass so it would be a good idea to put a glass panelled wall. Also rotten flesh is the best thing to use while taming wolves. Light up your roof!

Windows block line of sight for mobs. Ghast's don't 'see' you through them, same way creepers won't blow up a glass wall. No clue if fireballs will break windows, but they won't fire at you through them.

Nether brick is very useful to make fences. It's better than using wood.

Mel, if you put lava close to the netherwarts it will grow faster. But you still have to be in the nether for it to grow.

Dear Mel,

I make huge gardens of wheat in my game and when I move away from them they don't seem to grow very much. I have to be in a nearby proximity, I'm guessing to the point where it rezzes in the distance, for it to grow. Still using 1.0 because my mods haven't been updated to 1.1 yet. Don't know if it's the same for neitherwart or if you have to stay pretty close to it.

@raroriley unzip the file then go to you finder and hold shift command and G, and then type ~/Library/Application Support and hit enter from there you will click on the minecraft folder and then move GoD lets play to a folder that says worlds. If you need any more help

Mel making a brewing stand and put a nether wart in in ( make sure the bottles have water in it ) then when it's done get 1 melon and 1 golden nugget and put them in your crafting table to get a glistening melon ( I think it's called like that) then put that in the brewing stand make sure the bottles are awkward potions when it's all done you'll get a healing potion hope this helps
