Spanish is a mix of Latin, Greek, and Arabic, we're talking pronunciation not etymology, you imbecile. Italian, French, Romanian also descend from Latin yet they sound nothing like Spanish. South American Spanish sounds different from Peninsular Spanish which is THE true Spanish. Most ppl use Latin with Italian accent because it was the language of the Catholic Church.
